What if Okello is truly innocent?

What if there is no solid evidence, yet he’s already judged by public opinion?
What if the real culprit is still out there, while an innocent man carries the blame?
What if this case is built on assumptions, pressure, and weak testimonies?
What if justice fails and the truth is buried forever?
What if four lives are gone, and now a fifth is being destroyed without proof?

And if that’s the case, what charges will the school and the staff face for death of four kids and a wrongful accusation? ⚖️

RENOWNED LOZI AUTHOR AND EDUCATOR MUNDIA MWANGANA DIES AT 90

Zambia and the Barotseland region have been informed of the passing of veteran Lozi author and educator, Mr. Mundia Mwangana, who died yesterday at Maina Soko Hospital in Lusaka at the age of 90.

According to information made available, Mr. Mwangana had been receiving medical attention prior to his death. His passing marks the end of a long and impactful life dedicated to education, literature, and cultural preservation.

Mr. Mwangana was widely known for his contribution to Lozi literature, particularly through his well-known book “Makande A Sisumusa Mubili,” loosely translated as “Stories that Make the Body Shiver” or “Thrilling Tales.” The book contains a collection of dramatic and educative stories aimed at teaching moral lessons and preserving traditional values among readers.

In addition to his literary work, Mr. Mwangana served in the education sector for many years. He worked as a teacher and later became Head Teacher at Mouyo Secondary School. He eventually rose to the position of Senior Education Standards Officer in Mongu, where he contributed to improving the quality of education in the province before his retirement.

As Zambia Barotseland Border Post, and as lovers of Lozi literature books, we note that Mr. Mwangana will be greatly missed and remembered for his significant role in preserving the Silozi language and providing cultural and moral education through literature. His work has left a lasting impact on generations and will continue to inspire many.

Funeral arrangements and burial details are yet to be announced by the family.

Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available
