What part of your work gives you that spark even on the messy days?

Everyone is doing the same thing online lately.
Same hooks. Same fonts. Same camera angles. Same “viral” ideas.

Even the brands are starting to look like twins.
And yet… we keep wondering why engagement is dropping and sales feel harder.

Here’s the honest truth most people skip:
People don’t connect with perfection. They connect with personality.

Jim Rohn said it best:
Be a student, not a follower. Make sure what you finally do is a product of your own conclusion.

Because when you only follow, you blend in.
But when you learn, test, tweak, and decide for yourself you stand out.

Your audience isn’t looking for another copy-and-paste brand.

They’re looking for you.

Your story. Your values. Your way of thinking. Your voice.

And the best part?

Being yourself is far easier than keeping up with trends that don’t even fit your business.

If your content feels forced right now, this is your sign to stop copying and start customising.

Uniqueness doesn’t confuse customers.
It helps them choose you.

Save this if your brand is ready to stand out properly.
Share it with someone who’s stuck in the comparison trap.

Or drop me a line if you need help marketing.

I’ve been building in the background and working. Far away from the screen.

Is your brand speaking the right language?

I recently -okay weeks ago, 😉- attended the Young Moguls Mixer Brunch Edition, and let me tell you—it wasn’t just about sipping water and capturing aesthetically pleasing moments for Instagram. It was a masterclass in personal branding, social capital, and understanding the power of clear messaging.

One moment that truly stuck with me was an exercise led by Tutsirai Jenje, a real gem in the personal branding industry. For the exercise, we were each given half of a word and had to find the person with the other half.

Simple, right? Well, not quite.

I had the word "guard," and naturally, I assumed my match had "life" so I kept looking for a "lifeguard". Maybe I’ve watched too much Baywatch, but in my mind, it all made perfect sense!

Meanwhile, my actual partner, holding body, was trying to describe their word as something you put clothing on.

The result? Total confusion.

While others quickly paired up, we were left searching, convinced we were right but completely missing the actual connection: bodyguard.

It was funny in the moment, but it drove home a critical lesson: never assume that what you think is what everyone else thinks.

In branding and marketing, this happens all the time—businesses believe they’re being clear, but their audience hears something entirely different.

If your messaging isn’t crystal clear, you might find yourself speaking one language while your audience hears another.

And when that happens? You lose the connection, the sale, or worse—the trust.

A huge thank you to Tutsirai Jenje, a powerhouse in legacy brand building, Tinotenda Borerwe for breaking down authentic relationship-building, and of course, Nicole Kundai Duma for curating such an impactful event.

If you’re building a brand, remember: clarity wins. Make sure your audience actually hears what you’re trying to say.

What if I told you your next breakthrough isn’t just about strategy—but your positioning in life?

Esther wasn’t just a queen; she was a strategist, a risk-taker, and a deliverer for her people. But here’s the twist—her power didn’t come from forcing her way in; it came from preparing herself for the moment she was called upon.

How does this apply to your business? Let’s unpack the Esther Anointing in a way that transforms how you see growth.

1. Refine, get knowledge and strategise
Esther didn’t just go to the king. She spent months in preparation : refining, wisdom, and strategy.
Likewise your preparation will determine your promotion. Focus on building your foundation, even when no one is watching.

2. Step into the unknown
Playing it safe won’t change the game. Is fear holding you back from pitching that client or launching your dream idea?

3. Act at the right time
Esther didn’t rush her moment; she discerned the right time to act.
Remember, timing isn’t just about luck; it’s about wisdom. Learn when to leap and when to wait—it could mean the difference between survival and success.

Now it’s your turn: Are you aligning your business and your life to the season you’re in, or are you trying to force your way into opportunities you’re not prepared for?

The Esther Anointing isn’t just about influence; it’s about intentional influence. Your business can be a platform for purpose, but it starts with preparation, courage, and timing.

Here’s a throwback to the first year of my business in China. I had no money, had officially worked with just one client, and counted it a big win to have McDonald’s once a week. 😂 Back then, I was stuck in “someday” thinking – dreaming big, but without a real plan to get there.

Everything changed when I finally sat down and mapped out what it would actually take to make those dreams a reality.

I got clear on financial estimates, set real timelines, and created a plan that aligned my personal and professional goals. That’s when true growth started.

And today? I’m still following a 10-year plan (yes, still in progress!). It’s become my compass through all the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, motivating me and keeping me grounded.

It’s one thing to say you want to grow, but knowing what it’ll cost to get there – in time, money, and effort – makes it easier to stay focused. That’s when the big shifts began.

Imagine what would change if you stopped waiting for “someday” and started planning for today. Knowing why you’re pushing through is key, and it brings purpose to every step, big or small.

So stop letting “someday” hold you back. Dream big, plan bigger, and make sure you’re working for what matters to you, EVERY SINGLE DAY. The sooner you align your personal and professional goals, the sooner you see the results you’ve been waiting for.

Send me a DM if you need a growth plan that works for your brand.
