THE CASE OF THE VANISHING CUSTOMERS

By 9am, Mr. Chikandiwa’s shop was spotless. Shelves stocked. Lights bright. Air freshener on “Ocean Breeze.” He stood proudly by the door, ready to welcome customers.

By 9:15, a woman paused outside, squinted at the shop, tilted her head, then walked away.
By 9:20, two men stopped, argued about what kind of business it was, and left.
By 9:30, the delivery guy asked if this was the new pharmacy.
It wasn’t. It was a clothing store. A good one.

By lunchtime, Mr. Chikandiwa had begun to question everything: his career choices, his signboard, even life itself. He stood at the entrance of his shop, trying to figure out what was missing.

And then it hit him. Not a customer, sadly, but the truth.
He had no logo.
No identity. No visual clue that shouted, “Hey! This is who we are!”

He called VividMark.

A week later, the same people who once walked past now stopped, smiled, and came in.
Some even took selfies by the new sign.
The shop didn’t change. The clothes didn’t change.
Only one thing did: the mark that made them look.

Moral of the story: People can’t buy from what they can’t recognize.
