We are pleased to announce the appointment Kenana Dahlan as the new head of our growing Saudi Arabia business, strengthening our senior advisory offering in the country.

Kenana joins Edelman with a decade of experience working in strategic communications roles. Her previous roles include in-house positions at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST), significant development projects, and experience counselling senior ministers and chief executive officers.

Kenana’s appointment follows the announcement last week of three other senior hires in the Middle East, including fellow Saudi Sarah Algethami joining our expanding financial practice.

Simon Hailes joins from Barclays Bank as Financial Communications Director.

Financial journalist Sarah Algethami joins from Bloomberg.

Mazar Masud joins as the new Head of Edelman Abu Dhabi.

The appointments build on expansion of Edelman Smithfield financial communication offering across EMEA.
