Did you receive an intervention during pregnancy (induction, sweep, or others) that lead you down an unfortunate path of more and more invasive procedures? If you're comfortable, share your experience with me in the comments.
On the topic of interventions, I love how Aisha Al Hajjar explains it in her book AMANI BIRTH (a MUST READ for all pregnant mothers):
"I am the first to acknowledge the skill and efforts of the medical establishment at rescuing mothers and babies in trouble. I'm very grateful for medical interventions when they are truly needed. In most cases, true need for interventions is related to underlying medical conditions or lack of preparation on the part of the mother.
But for the vast majority of healthy, young women, interventions cause more harm than good. Especially when they interfere with the Natural process and lead to a domino effect of more and more invasive measures."
