The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced an extension to the eInvoicing ASP appointment deadline — a welcome development for businesses navigating this transition.
Here’s what you need to know:
the UAE is introducing a mandatory eInvoicing system for companies with annual revenues exceeding AED 50M.
The deadline to appoint an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) has been moved from July 31 to October 30, 2026 — allowing businesses additional time to make a considered, well-informed decision.
The extension reflects the government’s commitment to a smooth rollout. With 32 approved providers now in the market and a new white-label framework enabling local firms to partner with international specialists, businesses have more options than ever to find the right fit.
That said, one date remains firm: January 1, 2027 is the mandatory go-live deadline, and no further extensions are anticipated.
We encourage our clients to use this window thoughtfully — assess your options carefully, align your internal systems, and secure the right partnership before the market gets crowded.
