Skills Required:
Excellent communication and analytical skills required. Master's degree in Business administration and 1 year of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or in a related field and 5 years of relevant progressive experience.
Job Duties:
Plan, direct or coordinate sales and marketing policies and programs. Identify, develop or evaluate sales and marketing activities and policies to promote products and services by establishing sales territories, quotas and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives. Analyze sales statistics, determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers. Oversee regional and local sales & marketing managers and their staffs. Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs. Determine price schedules and discount rates. Research market conditions in local, regional, or national areas, or gather information to determine potential sales of a product or service, or create a marketing campaign and plan advertising services. Make organization more profitable through reduced costs and increased revenues and improve business efficiency and productivity. Possess knowledge and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems. Knowledge of business and management, strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique is preferred.
