Today, we celebrate the extraordinary achievements of Emirati women, who have been integral to the UAE's progress since its inception. Their journey began in 1975 with the establishment of the General Women's Union, paving the way for women's empowerment and rights.

Emirati women have made significant strides in leadership, holding 50% of seats in the Federal National Council and 27% of ministerial positions. Their influence in governance and policy-making is undeniable.

In the business world, Emirati women are thriving. According to the Emirates Businesswomen Council, their share of the workforce has increased to 34.6% in 2024, up from 32.5% in 2023. These inspiring entrepreneurs make up 18% of all businesses in the UAE, with many under the age of forty leading the charge.
