The first three seconds on your Shopify homepage are critical.
Your above-the-fold needs to clearly answer who it is for, what you sell and why it is worth their attention.
Most “nice” heroes are vague: a pretty image, generic headline, no real proof and multiple buttons.
The result is confusion and lost revenue.
A better hero has a clear value proposition, one main call to action, a supporting line that explains the offer and a visual that actually shows the product.
Add a small proof element and you are already ahead of most stores.
Take a screenshot of your hero, hide the rest of the page and see if it passes the three-second test.
