Since 1 January 2024, we have generated over 25,400 pieces of press coverage, achieving a media reach of over 100 billion! With coverage in 119 countries, the world has been talking about Farnborough and its portfolio. 🌍

These figures have been achieved across the entire brand portfolio, including , , , , , , and .

Farnborough International marketing team have bagged another award!

Last night the team took home the Best Use of Creative/Brand at the Exhibition News Marketing Awards last night.

The ‘Your space to create extraordinary’ campaign, led by Matt Burton, highlights the award-winning exhibition & conference centre’s ability to connect people through heritage, innovation, insight and exceptional experiences.

Yesterday I got to join the Farnborough International team and walk onto a ‘real life’ film set, thanks to the lovely Rachel Morrison. 🍿

Farnborough International Studios is currently a hub of activity as a location for feature film. It was amazing to see some of the 250-strong crew building the sets and stunts areas that will be used within the movie.🎥

While we can’t talk about it just yet, I’m very excited to be able to support the Studios team led by Rachel Morrison in announcing some of the projects and production houses utilising the spaces very soon.

Some exciting news for and startups! 🚀 ✈
aero has partnered with Farnborough International , as part of the airshow’s new Startup Zone, and will run a pitching competition during this year’s airshow on Thursday 25th July.

Joe Muir, Commercial Aerospace Director of Farnborough International, added: “Representing the apex of aviation, the 2024 Farnborough International Airshow will demonstrate the future of the industry to the global aerospace sector. We are proud to join Aerospace Xelerated’s growing ecosystem of partners, with the aim to support collaborative innovation between the titans of industry and the newest trailblazers and highlight the pioneering startups entering the industry with new, sustainable technology.”

The winning startup will receive a prize of £5,000, six months of mentorship from the AX team, and exclusive exhibition space for the 2026 Farnborough International Airshow to help them grow their business.

Last week His Majesty The King unveiled a new portrait of himself, commissioned by , at Buckingham Palace. 👑

The portrait, by the renowned artist Jonathan Yeo, is the first official portrait of The King since the coronation and will be on public view at the Philip Mould Gallery until Friday 14 June.

The portrait depicts His Majesty wearing the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards uniform, of which he was made Regimental Colonel in 1975, and to whom the Drapers’ Company is affiliated.

💭 : Reflecting on , I am proud and privileged to say that I am one of the few.

I am one of the few who haven’t seen huge adversity in their career because of their gender, who haven’t been unfairly treated or paid less because of their gender, or refused work because of their gender.

And this is all due to the continuous work and lobbying that has been done before and throughout my 10-year career by pioneers to make the world a more inspiring and fair place to be.

I consider myself lucky as I sadly know that this isn’t the ‘normal’ experience and it’s a constant reminder that we need to develop, and luck shouldn’t come into it.

I am personally grateful and proud to be part of a working world created by a diverse range of professionals who are making actionable change and supporting, pioneering and campaigning for a platform that is driven to achieve the mission that the few become all.

The growing events conglomerate behind the Farnborough International Airshow has purchased a 48% ownership of Automotion Events Ltd, the organiser behind .

Andy Entwistle, CEO of Automotion Events, said: “This is an incredibly exciting step for the business and The British Motor Show brand. With over 75 years of legacy, Farnborough International has unrivalled expertise in developing and hosting pioneering events, and we are looking forward to working with the team to propel our show to the next level.
