Emaar Prepares to Launch USD 54.4 Billion Mixed-Use Mega Development in Dubai

Emaar Properties is preparing to launch a USD 54.4 billion master-planned mixed-use development in Dubai, adding one of the largest integrated urban communities to the emirate’s long-term development pipeline.

Spanning more than 4.5 million square metres of built-up area, the project is designed to accommodate approximately 150,000 residents and will combine residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, education, healthcare, and cultural components within a single master plan.

Albaddad–BDC Launch Major Mixed-Use City Development in Botswana

Albaddad Holding, in partnership with the Botswana Development Corporation (BDC), has launched the USD 1.9 billion New Botswana City mixed-use development in Gaborone, with construction now underway on the first phase.

The government-backed initiative marks a major public-private development aimed at positioning the capital as a regional hub for business, investment, and events. The master plan spans approximately 1.24 million square metres and will be delivered in three phases. It includes 51 residential towers, commercial and office clusters, five hotels, and a central boulevard featuring retail, dining, and entertainment offerings.

The first phase is anchored by a 124,000-square-metre international exhibition and convention centre, valued at approximately USD 292 million, which has already commenced construction and will serve as the core driver for the wider development.

The development reflects a broader strategy to diversify Botswana’s economy and strengthen Gaborone’s position within regional investment and events networks.
