من لا يرحم لا يُرحم - حديث نبوي يهز القلب - أدب الكلام

قال رسول الله ﷺ:
مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ - متفق عليه
ارْحَمُوا مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ يَرْحَمُكُمْ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ - الترمذي

He who shows no mercy will be shown no mercy - Sahih Bukhari & Muslim

A powerful hadith that will shake you.

You want Allah to have mercy on you? Have mercy on His creation.

You are harsh with your wife? How will Allah be merciful to you?
You are harsh with your worker? How will Allah be merciful to you?
You are harsh with animals? How will Allah be merciful to you?
You don't forgive people? How will Allah forgive you?
الراحمون يرحمهم الرحمن - Those who show mercy, The Most Merciful will show mercy to them.

Today this Ummah lost mercy - Father has no mercy on son, son has no mercy on mother, boss has no mercy on employee, rich has no mercy on poor.

And then we say: Why Allah's mercy is not coming? Why dua not accepted?

Because مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ لَا يُرْحَمُ

If you want Allah's mercy:

Forgive someone today
Help someone poor today
Be soft with your parents today
Feed an animal today
ارحم تُرحم - Show mercy and you will be shown mercy.

Type "Ya Rahman Irhamna" if you want Allah's mercy.

4000 Years Ago - The Beginning:
Prophet Ibrahim (AS) left his wife Hajra (AS) and infant son Ismail (AS) in the desert of Makkah by order of Allah. No water, no food, no human.

Hajra (AS) ran 7 times between Safa and Marwa searching for water. Her baby Ismail (AS) was crying, rubbing his heels on the ground. Suddenly, Angel Jibrail (AS) struck the ground and water gushed out! Hajra (AS) said "Zam Zam" - Stop Stop - and tried to contain it. That water is Zamzam.

The Lost History:
For hundreds of years after Jurhum tribe, Zamzam well was lost and buried. No one knew where it was.

The Rediscovery - Dream of Abdul Muttalib:
500 years ago, Prophet Muhammad's ﷺ grandfather Abdul Muttalib saw 4 dreams where he was told to dig Zamzam at the place where blood and dung is, where ants nest is, where crows peck. He dug and found the lost well again.

The Secret Science of Zamzam:

Zamzam well is only 30 meters deep, 1.5m diameter, yet it supplies millions of Hajis every year.
Saudi Geological Survey tested - Zamzam has no algae, no bacteria, cannot be contaminated. It has calcium, magnesium, fluoride.
It flows at 11-18.5 liters per second. Pumps extract it, but water level refills in 11 minutes.
Prophet ﷺ said: "Zamzam water is for whatever intention it is drunk for. If you drink it for healing, Allah will heal you."
It never dries - From Ismail (AS) till Qayamat.
Where is Zamzam today?
Today Zamzam is pumped from the well inside Masjid Al-Haram, goes to cooling plant, and distributed worldwide.

Lesson: The tears of a mother Hajra (AS) who trusted Allah became a river for 4000 years. When you trust Allah, Allah creates Zamzam in your desert too.

1. Prophet Yaqub (AS) - When You Lose Someone You Love:
Yaqub (AS) lost his beloved son Yusuf (AS). He cried till he became blind. Years and years. Quran says:
"وَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا أَسَفَىٰ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ وَابْيَضَّتْ عَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْحُزْنِ"
And he turned away from them and said: "Oh my sorrow over Yusuf," and his eyes became white from grief.

Surah Yusuf 12:84
Healing: Allah returned Yusuf (AS) after 40 years. Your loss is not the end. Allah will return better.
2. Prophet Yunus (AS) - When You Feel Trapped in Darkness:
Yunus (AS) was in darkness of whale's stomach, darkness of sea, darkness of night. No one to help. He called:
"لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ"
There is no god but You, Glory be to You, indeed I was among the wrongdoers.

Surah Anbiya 21:87
Healing: Allah broke the darkness and saved him. Your darkness will break too with this Dua.
3. Prophet Ayyub (AS) - When You Lose Health, Wealth, Family:
Ayyub (AS) lost everything - health for 18 years, children died, wealth gone. But he never complained to people, he complained to Allah:
"أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ"
Indeed adversity has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of the merciful.

Surah Anbiya 21:83
Healing: Allah returned double of everything. Your Sabr has double return.
4. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ - When People Mock You and You Feel Alone:
In Makkah, Prophet ﷺ was called liar, magician, his family boycotted for 3 years. Allah healed his heart saying:
"وَلَقَدْ نَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ يَضِيقُ صَدْرُكَ بِمَا يَقُولُونَ"
And indeed We know that your chest is tightened by what they say.

Surah Hijr 15:97
Allah said - I KNOW your chest is tight. Allah knows your broken heart.
5. Prophet Musa (AS) - When You Feel Scared of Future:
Musa (AS) was scared to face Firaun, the biggest tyrant. Allah said:
"لَا تَخَافَا ۖ إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَىٰ"
Fear not. Indeed I am with you both, I hear and I see.

Surah Taha 20:46
Healing: You are not alone. Allah hears and sees your broken heart.

4. Baab Ar-Rayyan (Gate of Fasting):
This gate is ONLY for those who fasted. Especially Ramadan and voluntary fasts (Monday-Thursday, Ayyam Beed). Once they enter, it will be closed forever. No one else will enter from it.

5. Baab Al-Hajj (Gate of Hajj):
For those who performed Hajj with sincere intention and did not commit sin.

6. Baab Al-Kazimeen Al-Ghaiz Wal Aafeen Anin Naas (Gate of Those Who Control Anger and Forgive People):
For those who swallow their anger when they can take revenge, and forgive people. Allah says they are Muhsineen.

7. Baab Al-Iman / Baab Al-Ayman (Gate of Right Side):
For those who had perfect Tawakkul and complete trust in Allah without doing any Shirk. They will enter without Hisab. Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) will be called from this gate.

8. Baab Adh-Dhikr / Baab Al-Ilm (Gate of Dhikr, Knowledge, and Remembrance):
For those whose tongues were always wet with Dhikr - SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, and who sought Islamic knowledge.

The Greatest Honor:
Abu Bakr (RA) asked: "O Messenger of Allah, will someone be called from all gates?" Prophet ﷺ said: "Yes, and I hope you will be among them."
