I didn’t expect this from AffPapa Conference Madrid
But the event surprised me in the best way possible.
The event is small and that is exactly what makes it work, because you can actually connect with people properly rather than the usual 5 minute chat + biz card exchange and see you later kind of conversation...
We are talking real conversations about business and life with people I had known from LinkedIn for a long time but never actually met in person until now.
And also because the space is small, the same people see you and your brand over and over throughout the day, which is something you genuinely cannot replicate at a bigger expo...
I think the brand was spotted maybe 10 to 15 times by the same people just from walking around the floor, and that kind of repeated visibility is good for brand recall and recognition.
The networking event venues were something extraordinary too, there was a dinner at this restaurant painted floor to ceiling like a Picasso artwork and it was just absolutely beautiful... (pic 2)
The AffPapa team also deserves a big applause because they genuinely take care of everything and the vibe is always “let us go get it done” approach, which I really appreciate.
In terms of content, we recorded 2 long form podcasts, 10 mini podcasts, and 6 expo floor interviews, which means 18 pieces of content in different formats are coming your way very soon...
