I recently designed and developed branding for WeMENA www.wemena.com, an online B2B wholesale marketplace that links wholesalers with retails, to sell thousands of genuine products directly from authorised suppliers and manufacturers.

The brand was designed to represent the linking of wholesalers with retailers, and to standout through customer-facing branded collateral. For example; drivers' uniforms, delivery boxes, tape and the delivery vans.

The lockdown has given me the opportunity as a designer the chance to look back at some of the projects I've worked on over the last few years.

This is one that I have been meaning to photograph for months...

In a world of all things digital, it was great to have the opportunity to work on a good old fashioned print project, in collaboration with fellow designer Julie Sol and illustrator Elena Belokrinitski.

We designed a luxury box for Hermes Retreats and a premium travel brochure for its Kenyan game reserve, Olarro.

The box was lined with a bespoke illustration by Elena that was in contrast to the outer packaging, that was finished with tactile paper stocks and gold foiling.

The casebound brochure was branded with a gold foil and a debossed graphic into the buckram bookbinding cloth.

I recently designed and developed a new brand identity for Heybru, a team of lifestyle property developers from South Africa who offers an end-to-end development service to clients looking to develop property in Portugal.

The branding and collateral are inspired by the rich and vibrant colours on display in the town and cities of Portugal and the country's stunning landscapes and scenery that lures so many people to live there, while the logo relates to building and development through the typography.

It has been a pleasure to work with Studio One, one of Dubai's newest mid-market hotels, to design and develop a launch campaign that exploits the fact it's not trying to be something it isn't while playing to the hotels unique character.

The kitsch visual style reflects the hotel's location in Studio City, home to many of Dubai's film and production companies, and the hotel's quirky film and TV inspired interiors.

It’s been great developing a brand, collateral, signage and environmental graphics for Al Karamah School in Abu Dhabi. A school is dedicated to teaching and developing children with autism and learning difficulties.

The logo represents the students, teachers and the community that are brought together by the school and the muted pastel colour palette that is used in the branding and the within the school interiors are aimed at providing a calm and welcoming environment for the students.
