As an institution based in the United Arab Emirates, we would like to address our students and community regarding recent developments affecting our live sessions.
Over the past weeks, the region has experienced heightened geopolitical tensions. As many of our respected lecturers are currently in Iran, unexpected internet connectivity disruptions affected our most recent live webinar. While certain circumstances have limited our ability to publicly discuss specific operational details, we want to assure everyone that our intention has always been to communicate responsibly and avoid contributing to unnecessary public concern or speculation.
As of March 1, authorities in the Dubai have implemented heightened precautionary measures following a significant regional military escalation.
We place our full trust in the leadership and governance of the UAE. The nation has long demonstrated resilience, stability, and unity in the face of regional challenges. The UAE stands as a remarkable example of peaceful coexistence, where Emiratis and expatriates from all over the world live, work, and build together in harmony. It is a country founded on visionary leadership, strategic foresight, and an unwavering commitment to safety, progress, and innovation. We remain confident in the strength of its institutions and in the spirit of its people during this period.
At Ooma Digital Academy, our commitment to delivering high-quality education remains unwavering. Although we are navigating temporary disruptions due to the current military tensions that began in February, we are confident that, as a nation and as a community, we will rise above these challenges.
In light of ongoing regional developments, all live lectures will be temporarily suspended until stability allows us to resume safely and reliably. As previously shared, we are also actively onboarding new lecturers to strengthen our academic team and ensure continuity in delivering our programs.
Our team continues to work diligently behind the scenes on the launch of our new and improved learning portal for enrolled students, which is expected to be completed by the second week of March. This platform will provide a more stable, accessible, and structured learning experience for everyone.
