As we communicated in the previous post, Meta has made the decision to standardize how they work with advertisers globally, and as part of this change, effective July 1st 2024 the 36 countries that were previously supported by the ASP program will move to be billed directly by Meta. The best place to learn about how this transition will work is on Meta’s website ( https://www.facebook.com/business/authorized-sales-partners ), which contains detailed information about the steps you will need to take to continue working with Meta.
How will the transition work?
The Ad Account(s) that you set up with Evido will automatically transfer to your own Business Manager after July 2, 2024. No action is needed on your end.
If a Meta Pixel was set up, that will also be transferred. However, all other assets( https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1604287853035214?id=420299598837059 ) (e.g. Catalogs, Custom Conversions, etc.) will not transfer. This also includes any APIs that your ASP currently hosts and shares with you. For all other assets ( https://www.facebook.com/business/help/1604287853035214?id=420299598837059 ) you will need to set them up again inside your own Business Manager or through an Agency if you are working with one.
What actions do I need to take to continue advertising with Meta?
As part of this change in service model, your business account will begin to be billed directly by Meta and you will need to set up a payment method with Meta. This is a very important step, and lack of action will result in all of your ad campaigns on Meta platforms being paused.
Action to take:Starting on July 3 2024, please add a new payment method by following these steps: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/132073386867900?id=160022731342707 . If you qualify, you can follow these steps ( https://www.facebook.com/business/help/663802094015925?id=2356205651275420 ) to apply for monthly invoicing.
Please do NOT attempt to change your payment method before July 3, 2024 as permissions will not be properly completed.
