📺1956 թվականի նոյեմբերին հայկական հեռուստատեսությունն առաջին անգամ պաշտոնապես հեռարձակվեց՝ շնորհիվ Հանրապետական հեռուստատեսային ստուդիայի բացման.

📻Այն ժամանակ հեռուստատեսությունն իրականում ուղղակի ռադիո էր՝ տեսախցիկով։ Քանի որ ռադիոն Հայաստանում գործում էր դեռևս 1926 թվականից, վաղ հեռուստահաղորդումները հիմնվում էին ռադիոյի ձևաչափերի վրա։ Էկրաններին նույնիսկ հայտտվեցին «ռադիո թերթերը»՝ պարզ տեղեկություններ պարունակող ընթերցումները:

🗓️1958 թվականի մարտի 1-ից հեռուստատեսությունը սկսեց հեռարձակվել գրեթե ամեն օր (բացի չորեքշաբթիներից), երբ հեռուստատեսությունն անջատվեց Մշակույթի նախարարությունից և ձևավորվեց որպես առանձին կառույց։

⭐️1960-ականներին հեռուստատեսությունն անցավ նոր փուլ․ ստեղծվեցին խմբագրություններ, որոնք մշակում էին մշակութային, հասարակական-քաղաքական և արվեստին նվիրված հաղորդումներ։ Հենց այդ ժամանակ էր, որ փոքրիկ սև-սպիտակ հեռուստացույցները սկսեցին աստիճանաբար մտնել մարդկանց առօրյա կյանքի մեջ։

Բայց ամենահետաքրքիրը դեռ առջևում էր…
