One of the most common misconceptions in colour analysis? That pale skin automatically means cool undertones.

In reality, natural redheads are often classic Springs — the lightest of the warm seasons. Their skin may be extremely fair or thin, which lets pink tones from blood vessels show through. This “cool appearance” is misleading. When analysed correctly, you’ll see their overall colouring (hair, eyes, skin) is warm and vibrant — not muted or ashy.

Placing them in a cool category like Summer or Winter drains their natural glow.

This myth comes up again and again, especially among amateur analysts. So if you’re ever unsure, zoom out and look at the full picture, not just the skin tone. 🌈
