I recently created a suite of artwork designs for the Little Streets of Melbourne, which feature painted stencilled patterns of the Indigenous flora and fauna that existed in these local areas in pre-colonial times.

Thanks to the City of Melbourne for this great opportunity – really proud to be part of the post-COVID beautification of our wonderful city!

The CBD's Little streets are soon to be turned into urban oases with stencils of local indigenous flora and fauna as part of a drive to provide more space for pedestrians.

Happy NAIDOC Week! It was wonderful to celebrate with our friends from Kinaway at the NAIDOC Week ball in Melbourne on Saturday - it was a fabulous night! The Welcome to Country by Aunty Carolyn and Aunty Diane was quite moving as well as the heartfelt speeches throughout the night. All the best for a great week!

Happy National Reconciliation Week! We attended the 15th year of The Long Walk at the Dreamtime match on Saturday. A bit wet on our journey but great to see so many being part of the walk! Congratulations to the Long Walk team for organising such an amazing event!

Congratulations to Koorie Heritage Trust for the exhibition opening of ‘Blak Design Matters’ on Saturday. The exhibition showcases 20 contemporary Indigenous designers across a range of design disciplines. The exhibition was officially opened by the Minister for Creative Industries, The Hon. Martin Foley. Thanks to Aunty Carolyn Briggs for her wonderful Welcome to Country. A special thanks goes to Jefa Greenaway and Charlotte Christie for this fabulous opportunity to create the branding and catalogue and have participated in ‘Blak Design Matters’.

Congratulations to ANZ and Supply Nation for organising the NAIDOC Week Indigenous Trade Fair held today at ANZ Docklands. It was a fabulous opportunity to meet with ANZ staff and participating Indigenous businesses to celebrate NAIDOC Week. Special thanks goes to Simon Nash for instigating such a terrific event and Janet Gaplin (pictured here with us) for her wonderful Welcome to Country.

Congratulations to Laura and the SN team for organising a spectacular Connect 2018! Congratulations also to all the nominees and the winners! It was a special honour for Marcus to help out with the big reveal of the new logo! Connect 2018 was indeed a wonderful opportunity to catch up for a yarn with old faces as well as meet new ones!

On April 26 2018, we attended the launch of the Wungurilwil Gapgapduir: Aboriginal Children and Families Agreement held at Queens Hall, Parliament House. This Agreement represents the formal commitment by the Victorian Government, Aboriginal communities and Aboriginal child and family services, to deliver a strategic action plan to ensure the safety and protection of vulnerable Aboriginal children and young people in Victoria. The four Signatories were as follows (in order of photo): Professor Muriel Bamblett, CEO, Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency; The Hon. Jenny Mikakos MP, Minister for Families and Children; Karen Heap, Chairperson, Victorian Aboriginal Children and Young People’s Alliance and Deb Tsorbaris, CEO, Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare Inc.
The launch was indeed a historical moment and we are chuffed to be involved in the design and artwork of the Agreement and work with Lee Darroch’s beautiful artwork.

On Friday 22 September 2017 we partnered with Cox Inall Ridgeway and Karen Milward Consulting for very special event that was held at Charcoal Lane Restaurant. Aunty Di Kerr started the proceedings with a warm Welcome To Country. Aden Ridgeway, Karen Milward and Marcus then shared their stories on each of their businesses – their journey, the changing landscape in business and government procurement.
It was a warm and engaging conversation which was very enlightening indeed! A big thank-you to Aden and the Cox Inall Ridgeway team, Karen Milward and all who attended for a fantastic event!
