Reflecting on 2025: Our Biggest Year Yet
Out of office is officially off, and as we step into 2026, it feels right to pause and look back on what was a huge year for Make Create.
2025 was busy, demanding, energising, and deeply rewarding. It was shaped by incredible clients, meaningful industry involvement, and a lot of behind-the-scenes work that doesn’t always make it to the grid.
It also marked the final year of my formal volunteering roles with AADC and She Creates. I’ve been involved with the .com.au since 2017, serving on committee as Sponsorship Chair, and later founded .adl, holding the Co-Chair role through to the end of 2025.
This year included hosting three She Creates events – International Women’s Day, Mums the Word (creating space to share stories about parenthood), and celebrating five years of the community. Stepping away from these roles was a big decision, but one I’m proud of, and I’m excited to see what 2026 brings with a little more space to refocus.

Alongside all of this, our creative space at 124A Goodwood Road, Goodwood continued to be home base – and a new Make Create website is in the works and launching soon. Stay tuned.
