On Thursday last week, we were amongst six other wine and tourism tech startups who graduated from the inaugural Foment program. It was a great opportunity to develop or direct to Chinese consumer model. The learnings and connections made were priceless.

A big thank you to WISA - Wine Industry Suppliers Australia Inc., Hydra Consulting, Flinders University & New Venture Institute at Flinders for bringing the program together. Thank you to the other six participants for your collaboration. A massive thank you to the advisory board and mentors for your initial and ongoing support and advice. And last but not least, a huge thank you to Carla Dias Wadewitz, Darren Oemckecke & Matthew Moate for facilitating the entire program.

A platform that uses blockchain to track grapes from the vine to the bottle and a Chinese micro-influencer marketplace are two of the wine and tourism tech start-ups that will be part of the State Government-funded FOMENT program.
