Like many couples, Ben + Rhiannon were unable to have their two children, Ginger and Garlic (a.k.a Gary), at their wedding.

The solution, doggy signage.

The dogs made their way around the venue. They started guiding people to their tables beside the seating chart, had a few photoshoots with their parents and the bridal party, provided moral support during speeches, and then later in the night took to the dance floor 🪩.

we were invited to dinner at jess and scott’s home to brainstorm all things wedding.

over dinner, we got chatting about how jess (one of my best friends) and scott met.

jess and scott met the ol’ fashioned way,….. tinder.

a short while after scott met jess, his mum sadly passed away.

he told us that the last discussion he had with his mum, before she passed, was about jess.

the last thing his mum asked him was “what is Jess’ last name?”

boy, did that hit me hard in the feels.

i admire scott for showing vulnerability and letting us in on a part of his and jess’ history by sharing this story.

it’s moments like these with my best friends and clients, that spark the most special creations.

i was honoured to be involved in this wedding and am beaming at the thought of watching one of my best friends marry the love of her life this Saturday.

a reminder, that wedding stationery isn’t just a pretty design or ink on paper… 🤍🕊
