Our First Day
Today we celebrate the release of Our First Day.
Stencilled on the back of a country farm post, or graffitied on the side wall of a suburban apartment, is the star signs of Odessa and Levi. They lost their mine on the city streets, the day they decided to go the high route. The way they knew was best for their future.

Art is a form of expression where two individuals meet, to fix their eyes on a canvas together, to paint something larger than nature itself.
It’s a gentle woman’s voice at the end of a jetty, echoing across the ocean. Her pointing with enthusiasm, saying, “Ohh look look… a New Zealand finch!!”
Or maybe it’s not, maybe it’s walking from one end of the art show alone, empty backpack on back, and getting to the end double doors. Without looking back. Giving a firm push and saying, “She was my messenger home all along.”
