Quirk & Co

Quirk & Co Helping business owners with big visions get crystal clear on their brand so their marketing works. A lot of the time the business itself isn’t the problem.

Brand strategy, messaging and visuals that turn big ideas into clear brands and marketing that backs it up 🧡 Helping founders with big visions get clear on their brand so their marketing actually works. The work is good. The ideas are coming in by the truckload. But the brand around it hasn’t quite caught up yet. That’s when marketing starts to feel messy, hard to explain, or like it isn’t landing

the way it should. That is where we come in. At Quirk & Co we help founders step back, untangle what their business has really become, and turn that into a brand people instantly understand. From there we shape the messaging, visuals and marketing so everything finally feels aligned, and the outside of the business finally matches what’s happening inside it.

You’ve rewritten that homepage three times this month and it still doesn’t land.

And every time you try to explain what you do, it you ramble and take someone from curious to confused AF.

You look at competitors and think we do this better, but you can’t figure out how to say that without sounding like everybody else.

You know your work is bloody epic and your business has grown, but when you try to put it into words or show it visually, you can’t land on anything that feels true to what your business actually is (frustrating, we get it)

The good news, your brand isn’t bad, it just doesn’t match what the business has become, and because you’re so close to it, you can’t see what’s actually wrong.

If this problem has been causing you A LOT more stress then you’d like to admit, it’s likely because:

👉🏼 You’re trying to fix the surface (logo, colours, tagline) when the problem is your positioning (how you’re different + who you’re for), your messaging, and your clarity

👉🏼 You’re too close to the business to see it objectively so you keep second-guessing yourself

👉🏼 You don’t have the language to articulate what’s wrong so you can’t brief anyone to fix it

So here’s what that’s telling us 👉🏼 You don’t need another DIY rebrand attempt. You need someone who can see what you can’t and translate it into something clear.

This is the stuff we nerd out over daily. Stick around if you want us to keep sharing more 🧡

You know the work inside out and could do it in your sleep, but the second someone asks what you do, you fumble 🫣😵‍💫

You start explaining, cover too much ground trying to be thorough, and watch their face shift from curious to confused AF. By the time you’re done, the moment’s gone and you’ve lost them 👋🏼

What this means is your business has outgrown the simple way you used to explain it.

You’ve added layers, evolved your offering, refined your ideal audience, but you never stopped to rebuild how you talk about it.

So now every conversation feels like you’re working too hard to land something that should be obvious.

If people don’t immediately get what you do, here’s what’s actually broken:

👉🏼 Your positioning (how you’re different + who you’re for) isn’t sharp enough so you’re explaining instead of stating

👉🏼 You’re trying to cover everything instead of leading with the thing that matters most

👉🏼 You haven’t simplified what you do into something simple and repeatable

Good news… you don’t need a better elevator pitch (phew) what you do need is clearer positioning, because until you fix that, every conversation will feel like a missed opportunity.

Here’s what keeping your brand visible right now looks like depending on what kind of business you run 👀👇🏽

If you run a product business.

You don’t need to be running sales or pushing discounts right now. What you can do is show your product in the context of real life.

👉🏼 How does it fit into the life your customer is living right now?

👉🏼 If it saves them money, time or stress, lead with that story.

👉🏼 Show it being used.

👉🏼 Talk about why you created it.

Let people feel connected to what’s behind it before you ever ask them to buy.

If you run a service based business.

Your clients are thinking harder about every dollar right now. So stop leading with what you offer and start leading with what it costs them not to have help.

👉🏼 What are they carrying by doing it themselves?

👉🏼 What does that cost them over the next three to six months?

👉🏼 Share your expertise generously. A tip, a reframe, an answer to the question you keep getting asked.

That kind of content builds trust faster than any offer ever will.

If you run a coaching or consulting business.

This is the time to show your thinking, not just your results.

👉🏼 Share your perspective on what’s happening in your industry right now.

👉🏼 Talk about what you’re seeing with your clients.

👉🏼 Give people a window into how you think.

The person who wants to work with a coach or consultant right now isn’t looking for someone with a polished pitch. They’re looking for someone who clearly gets it. Be that person.

The brands people go back to when things settle are always the ones that showed up when things were hard.

Drop a 🧡 if this is the reminder you needed today.

You know that feeling when you’re explaining your business to someone and it just clicks for them straight away?

You sound clear, confident, completely sure of yourself.

But then you sit down to write your website, update your bio, or put a caption together, and that same clarity just p**f disappears. (You’re screaming “NO. DON’T FAIL ME NOW BRAIN.” Oh wait, that’s just us? 🫣)

It’s not because the business isn’t good enough. It’s not because you need a new strategy or a better content plan, even though that’s what everyone else will tell you.

It’s because nobody has ever helped you answer the three things that actually matter.

👉🏼 What do you stand for?
👉🏼 Who are you genuinely for?
👉🏼 What makes you different to everyone else doing the exact same thing?

When those things are clear, your website makes sense. Your bio stops changing every few months. Writing a caption doesn’t take you an hour.

That’s the work we do.

We’re and , brand translators. We built Quirk because we got so tired of watching brilliant businesses get let down by a brand that didn’t reflect what they’d actually built.

If any of this sounds familiar, follow along because we’re just getting started 🧡

Colours only work when the foundations are clear.

If the values, the audience, the promise, the tone, and the reputation aren’t defined, the visuals have nothing to stand on.

These are the questions we asked when shaping Business Like A Girl (and any brand we work on or build).

They guided every decision and kept the brand steady across every touchpoint.

👉🏼 What do you stand for?
👉🏼 Who are you speaking to?
👉🏼 What promise are you making?
👉🏼 How do you want people to speak about you?
👉🏼 What tone feels true to you?

This is the difference between a brand that looks good and a brand that leads with impact.

If your brand needs stronger foundations, we’re here to help you shape them.
