Some sites make you work a little harder. This one was worth it.

Adrian takes us through this recently completed Norwood home, sharing some of the thinking, challenges and details behind the build.

Set on a tight inner-suburban block with extensive boundary construction and limited access, careful planning was essential from the very beginning.

Working alongside BB Architects, every part of the home was considered to maximise space, natural light and outlook, from the central courtyard and high-level windows to the clever use of rear laneway access.

A challenging site, a considered approach and a beautifully resolved result.

We’re officially four months out, and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes as we build towards three weeks celebrating Italian culture across Adelaide.

From food and wine to music, entertainment, tradition and community, the festival is about bringing people together and sharing what makes Italian culture so special. Adelaide, save the date. November is going to be a big one.

Cold morning. Busy site. Plenty happening. 🏗️

Our latest site inspection at Joslin gave us another look at this exciting transformation as it continues to take shape.

This beautiful character bungalow is being reimagined with a light-filled, two-storey addition designed to grow with the family. The original home’s character remains front and centre, while a contemporary extension creates open, connected living spaces that flow effortlessly to the future pool and pool house.

One feature we’re especially proud to preserve is the magnificent established tree. Rather than designing around it as an obstacle, we’ve made it the centrepiece of the backyard, proving that great design works with its surroundings.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but with every site visit, this vision gets a little closer to reality.
