So where does the time go!! I can't believe it's been 20 years of providing Graphic Design and Printing services in Albany - seems like yesterday we were in our offices in Peels Place and the graphics side of Pre-emptive Strike had grown and become an integral part of the business!
2003 was the year we really started to do things seriously. We hired our first Graphic Designer Lauren who was a beautiful designer. She helped to really get our name out there and launch the graphic design services. 2003 was also the year that we started doing the Artsouthwa Art and Craft Trail booklets - and have been doing them ever since. We're so proud to have worked alongside Artsouthwa Inc. for all these years and we also congratulate them on 20 years of the Art and Craft Trail as well.
Another client celebrating a milestone this year is Great Southern Grammar - 25 years of quality education. Our children started at GSG way back in 2002 when the primary school first opened and we became part of the Grammar family. We designed and worked on our first edition of the Semaphore in 2008 and have created each year book since, along with many amazing graphics for projects and events over the years - thank you for trusting us with your incredible brand.
Since 2003, Strike Point has gone from strength to strength, thanks to our amazing team and designers that have shared their talents along the way - Carl Dickinson, Jan Major, Simon Blackburn, Chris Donovan, Rebecca Weadon and our current incredible designer extraordinaire, Penny Hassall. Penny has been with Strike Point now for 14 years and we are so grateful to have her and her amazing talents.
Alongside Penny is Roweena Preece, who has been with us for 4 years. Roweena is the glue that holds us together and manages all our in house printing and is also pretty handy at design work as well. I am blessed to have such an amazing team whose focus on service and doing the best possible job for our clients is in line with what I believe as well.
Strike Point became it's own trading entity in 2008 when we saw the need to promote and run the business in its own stead, as it had grown to the point where we needed to stand on our own two feet, separate to Pre-emptive Strike. And we've never looked back.
20 years is a long time in business and we've seen so many changes, have met sooo many incredible people and businesses and we are ever so grateful for all our fabulous clients who have grown with us and supported us along the way. We would not be where we are today without our clients and to all of you, a heartfelt thank you.
