It’s good to be home. 🧡

After a huge week in Jakarta surrounded by new cars, concepts and everything automotive at GIIAS, there’s something pretty nice about being back in Albany, behind the wheel of our own Tank 300 and somewhere a little quieter.

We came home with a ridiculous amount of content too. 😅

Over the coming weeks we’ll be sharing more of what we discovered at GIIAS, including new vehicles, brands we’d never had the chance to properly explore before, and some genuinely interesting cars that could be heading to Australia.

The Tanks are taking over Whitegum! 🚙💨

The WA Tank owners came together for a day at Whitegum 4WD Park, and the result was exactly what you'd expect. Plenty of Tanks, some great tracks, a few challenges and a whole lot of fun seeing what these things can do off-road.

From relatively standard Tank 300s through to heavily modified builds, it was pretty cool seeing everyone tackle the same terrain in their own way.

And now you can come along for the day with us. 👀

Beyond GIIAS... this is the Jakarta we'll remember. 🇮🇩

From quiet moments by the pool to Porter discovering flowers, exploring the aquarium, meeting some very friendly birds 🦜, and taking in a city we'd never visited before.

This trip wasn't just about cars. It was about making memories as a family.

People think Dad flew to Indonesia to cover GIIAS...
Truth is, he's just my assistant.

I handle the meetings, approve the vehicles, keep Babbity Rabbity updated on important business, make time for the fans, inspect the emergency response fleet, and even investigate mysterious glowing orbs.

Dad mostly carries my snacks and writes things down when I tell him to.

Not bad for an 8-month-old. 😌

A little break from the show today. 🇮🇩

We swapped the exhibition halls for a day exploring Jakarta, taking in some incredible architecture, visiting both the cathedral and the mosque, wandering the city, and just enjoying some time together.

And because I apparently can't switch off... we still managed to spot a Tank out in the wild. 🤣

The GWM Tank 300 HEV still looks right at home at GIIAS. 🤍

Indonesia's hybrid off-roader combines a 2.0L turbocharged hybrid powertrain producing 342 hp (255 kW) and 648 Nm, paired with a 9-speed Hybrid Automatic Transmission (9HAT) and full-time 4WD.
