Google Chrome is rolling out the removal of third-party cookies, with 1% of Chrome users already being affected as of 4th January 🍪

As long as there are no speedbumps in the road, Chrome is aiming to remove all third-party cookies by Q3 this year!

For businesses engaged in marketing, this change will make it more difficult to track the consumer journey from ads through to a website and beyond. First-party and server-side tracking will be in focus, however with privacy laws in Australia continuing to be adapted, it'll be important to get ahead of changes.

Our team spent the morning with Interactive Minds yesterday for their ‘Crafting cut-through campaigns’ event.

We got to hear from three industry leaders and how they have managed to create campaigns that have successfully cut through the noise and made a big impact in more ways than one.

💡 Nick, the Founder of Wonderkarma talked about the concept of co-creation and the importance of getting input from those outside of your brand or agency. Speaking with communities adds a human touch to marketing campaigns and ensures you’re adding value to those communities, and not generalising or adding to harmful stereotypes.

💡 Kat, Brand and Marketing Director at Who Gives A Crap led with making an impact by being bold and connecting with audiences through culturally-relevant topics - their ‘Flush Your Ex’ campaign leveraged Hollywood’s breakup culture by allowing audiences to send in their love letters to be recycled into their toilet paper.

💡 Gavin, Chief Creative Officer at CHEP Network spoke to ‘flipvertising’ - flipping advertising to Gen Z on its head, ensuring cut-through by making people search for ads and content, rather than having ads serve a cohort of people who normally don’t connect with them. An important lesson in generational differences and marketing.

We took away a lot from this event and are excited about the impact we can have on our client’s campaigns in 2024.

We love seeing our clients achieve great things and are proud to be working alongside them as they grow.

We always felt our amazing Super High Oleic Safflower Oil should win an award, and it did! A very pleasant surprise...unsolicited (not entered by us), the esteemed Australian Healthy Food Guide magazine awarded our product "Best Oil 2023" 🏆

Healthy Food Guide Magazine is a well-known publication focused on healthy eating. It is highly respected by dietitians, who edit and contribute to its content. Annually HFG awards healthy food winners in various categories. To determine the Awards, their team of dietitians choose products that meet their nutrition criteria for the various categories, then winners are narrowed down based on a mix of taste, nutrition, accessibility and price point.
