Some campaigns are about clicks and others are about real community impact.

The “Never Bin a Battery” campaign for RAMJO was designed to do exactly that. It raised awareness of the fire risks caused by batteries being thrown into household bins and waste trucks, and educated communities across southern NSW on how to dispose of them correctly through Community Recycling Centres.

Spanning 14 Local Government Areas, this was a large scale, multi-channel community campaign. Digital budgets were weighted across three population zones to match where the message needed to land hardest.

The results?
⚡ 1.8 million impressions across Instagram and Facebook
⚡ 408,000 views on YouTube
⚡ 60,871 cinema admissions
⚡ 55,528 reached through local newspaper print
⚡ Radio across four regional stations and TV across linear and digital

Beyond the numbers, this campaign was about creating awareness that protects waste workers, communities, and local infrastructure. A reminder that strategic digital marketing isn’t just about selling products, it can also help drive meaningful behavioural change at scale.

Our social media manager Sarah is officially off on a six month adventure in Europe, filled with travelling, exploring, and collecting plenty of inspiration along the way, all while continuing to create the scroll stopping social media content our clients know and love.

One of the best things about being a remote marketing agency? Creativity doesn’t stop at office walls or even the border. From the UK to Australia, the content calendars are still rolling, the strategies are still strategising, and the ideas are still flowing.

We’re very excited for this next chapter and even more excited to share a few behind the scenes moments and adventures along the way.

The logo is the starting point. Everything else is the brand.

Arrow Interiors are a commercial construction company. They came to us with a base logo a friend had created and needed everything else: the full identity to take to market.

In commercial construction, the brand carries commercial weight. Tenders are partly won on how established and credible a business looks before the meeting starts. The brand has to do that credibility work before any conversation about the project even begins.

We built the full identity around the existing logo and translated it across every touchpoint. Brand guidelines, colour palette, typography, graphic elements. Signage, a new website, and a full stationery suite.

The result is a brand that backs the team in the room before they say a word.

Working with a marketing agency shouldn't feel like throwing ideas into the void and hoping for the best.

At Linchpin, everything is built around strategy, direction, and making sure your marketing actually supports the bigger goals of your business. No posting for the sake of posting. No "busy" marketing that looks active but delivers very little.

That starts with understanding where your business is now, where you want it to go, and what's standing in the way. From there, we build a marketing approach that connects the dots between your branding, social media, advertising, website, SEO, email marketing, and customer journey. No one part of your marketing should exist in isolation.

When you work with us, you get a team where each person owns their lane, not one person trying to juggle ten skill sets.

Strategy informs content 👉 Content supports advertising 👉 Advertising drives traffic 👉 Websites convert the traffic 👉 Reporting tells us what to optimise next. That's how marketing compounds.

A brand refresh done properly is a commercial decision, not a vanity exercise. Lightning IP brought us in to do theirs as they hit 10 years in business.

This is a local business built on long-term customer relationships and keeping the community connected. The refresh needed to read that way for the years ahead without losing the recognition they'd already earned.

Marcus Millgate from Art + Sound shaped the creative direction and messaging for the future of the brand. We then translated it into the full visual system:
✅ Updated logo, brand guidelines, colour palette, typography, and graphic elements
✅ Stationery suite, digital advertising assets, and social media templates

The result? A modernised identity that still feels unmistakably Lightning IP, just sharper, stronger, and ready for the next 10 years.

Meet the woman behind Linchpin.

Sonya founded Linchpin in 2015 after years of marketing work across higher education, real estate coaching, not-for-profit, and facility management. That mix matters. It means she's seen what works in industries with long sales cycles, regulated communications, and limited budgets, not just the easy ones.

Today she runs Linchpin as a fractional marketing team for established service businesses across Australia. Strategy, paid media, content, and the conversations clients have on the phone after a campaign runs are all part of the job.

She's direct. She'll tell you what's working and what's not, and she'll tell you when the issue isn't the marketing, it's the offer, the website, or the close rate.

For service businesses serious about growing their pipeline, that's the kind of input most agencies don't offer.

Another month of strategic social media, smart advertising, and content that actually gets seen. Here’s a snapshot of what we achieved for just a handful of our clients in April 👇

🏉 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛
A massive 50% increase in views, hitting over 150K views in April with 77K viewers. Averaging around 5,000 views every single day, we’re helping spread the word about this club right in the lead up to their busy season.

🍴 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
From 1 lead in March to 11 in April. For a kitchen reno business, that's 10 extra opportunities to land jobs that typically run $30K–$80K each, off the back of strategic advertising and proper lead generation.

🚗 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
Instagram is continuing to grow, reaching almost 20K views, a 15% increase from March. The results are compounding, month on month,.

🦎 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐫
This brand new business came out swinging with 125 leads, an 8.53% lead conversion rate, and leads at just $2.48 each. Safe to say, that’s a pretty solid start.

🌾 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨-𝐨𝐩
An 86% increase in new followers in April, bringing in 41 new fans of the business. Month by month, the community keeps growing stronger.

Five clients. Five different industries. One model that runs strategy, content, advertising, and reporting under a single plan.

Most established service businesses hit the same wall. You've outgrown the phase where one person handles all the marketing, but you're not ready to build an in-house department either. That's where a fractional marketing team earns its place.

Think of it as the capability of a full marketing team without the cost or HR overhead of hiring one internally. At Linchpin, we embed ourselves in your business. Strategy, social media management, digital advertising, copywriting, graphic design, and web development all working together with one clear strategy and one point of contact keeping it all moving.

No more juggling freelancers who don't talk to each other. No more squeezing website management, Meta ads, Google Ads, content, email marketing, branding, and strategy out of one overwhelmed employee.

Fractional marketing is built for established businesses that need serious marketing support across multiple channels. The ones that want smarter structure, stronger accountability, and a team that drives the agenda rather than waiting to be told what to do.

Marketing works when strategy, content, advertising, branding, and websites all pull in the same direction. That's the job of a fractional marketing team.

2026 is starting off strong with Q3 numbers looking good.

Another quarter of strategy, content, and ads doing exactly what they’re supposed to do, delivering results. Make sure you take a look.

🏗️ 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐝 & 𝐀𝐥𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫
Everything is trending up (we love to see it). Over 500,000 impressions on Facebook and 1,000+ interactions on Instagram, strong visibility and even stronger engagement.

🚗 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐬)
Leads are up, cost per call is down, aka the dream scenario. More leads, less spend, and plenty more where that came from.

🪚 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫
Great content deserves to be seen. 36,000 organic impressions paired with 51,000 from ads equals a whole lot of extra potential customers that wouldn’t have found them otherwise.

🌐 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐫
The audience is broad… but the strategy is sharp. A 138% increase in views means more of the right people are seeing their message exactly when they need it.

🚙 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 + 𝐀𝐝𝐬)
Big numbers and even bigger impact. 80% more viewers and a 119% increase in total views, hitting over 422K views this quarter. Safe to say, the content (and the engagement ads) are doing their thing.

Q4 has already started as we head to the EOFY. If marketing isn’t already in your budget for the next financial year, it’s time to start planning.

Listen up 👀 Randy’s about to drop some home truths… the real question is, are you ready to hear them?

Still running a WordPress site that hasn’t seen an update in a while? Consider this your friendly (but firm) reminder to stop bumping it to the bottom of the to do list.

Because an outdated website isn’t just a vibe issue, it’s costing you performance, security, and potential leads.
