Amen sister ✨
Same goes for clients who are promptly provided a full a service and upon completion they decide they no longer require it so they stop responding and don’t pay.
This is not on.
Unfortunately there have been a few times where my services have been taken advantage of. However, I have been mostly incredibly lucky along my journey so far to have met and worked with many kind and beautiful clients.
High five to you! 🙏🏼 You guys are the best and continue to remind me why I love what I do 💕
LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOW APPOINTMENTS.
I'll try to put this into perspective.
Imagine if you showed up to WORK and through no fault of your own (for example) a customer didn't purchase something, a meeting didn't go ahead or a booking didn't arrive.
Imagine then if your boss decide to NOT pay you for that hour (or more in most cases) because of it.
This is what happens daily in the beauty and hair industry (and others but im just sticking to the industry im involved in and know)
I am a small business. Literally just me. When I have last minute cancellations and no shows I go WITHOUT a wage.
On top of that I still have all my business expenses that need to be paid and I have generally turned away multiple clients that have wanted an appointment.
All of my clients know I am super understanding when it comes to sickness and other emergencies. Life happens and I am ALWAYS accommodating.
But lately I am seeing it a bit to much, not only myself but to others in the beauty game and I will be enforcing my late cancellation policy and no show policies.
Thanks for listening. I hate to have a rant but sometimes needs to happen 🤙
