Graphic Designer/Pre-Press Operator Wanted

Job description
Quality Plus Printers is seeking and experienced individual to join our team.

Job Description:
- Graphic Design and liaising with customers directly about artwork needs
- Prepare digital files ready for CTP plate output ensuring artwork is print-ready
- Proof-reading and file checking for output

Requirements:
- Experience in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat Pro and Apogee Workflow
- Graphics and prepress knowledge including colour separations, trapping and overprinting
- Strong background in colour management and print production is desirable.

Printing Press Operator position Available

Working with innovative businesses, entrepreneurs, household names, and government organisations, our team has a vast amount of industry experience and is focused on delivering the highest quality.

The role:
Operating 5-colour A2 Shinohara Press and GTO 52 single colour Heidelberg Platen and Cylinder experience is an advantage.

Ideally you will have:
- Previous printing experience on similar machinery.
- A Certificate III in print manufacturing or printing.
- At least 3 years of experience in the role is desirable.

We can offer you:
- An opportunity to work in and enjoy a lifestyle in this beautiful area – pristine beaches and lush rainforests with Byron Bay just a short drive and Gold Coast an hour away.
- Great hours: 7.30am to 3pm weekdays – no weekends or night shifts.
- Supportive and friendly work environment.
- Versatility of work.
