For those who wish to know the main process of producing a piece.
I start off with the sketch, personally designing, referenced or a picture taken. I then transfer that image to my computer where the digital magic happens along with a lot of editing, fixing and making sure that the image is set, ready for the Laser Cutter Program.

All designs transferred to Adobe Illustrator must be set in Grey Scale where the machine can identify each individual shade of grey and once that the digital component is complete.

Its time for the Laser Cutter to do its Job.

With the process of the 2023 Naidoc Totems coming along well.
I was asked to customise some more animal designs for another school up north and to also utilise all the left over off cuts from the templates printed.

With the Success of the 2022 Naidoc Totems.
I was asked once again to create new Animal Totems for all the DE Centre's for this years 2023 Naidoc week coming soon.

In total, there is 16 DE Centre's for the north coast that I needed to research, sketch design, digital transfer to software, test print to Laser Cut program, re-edit if needed then I was able to finally print the desired Animal Totem.

Once printed, the two piece totem with the desired 3D affect, needs to be lacquered then an extra copy is needed to be made for the Naidoc Totem painting stand.

As a part time Wires Rescuer, I decided it would be nice to create some templates and or posters, while trialing some different materials suited for the laser Cutter.

These designs came out great but due to not being official Wires material. I was not allowed to create more until official documentation and approval was made therefore the designs showed are not for official use and only for personal and Trial display.

With the inspiration of the 3D Dragon. Word got around and I was asked to Custom Create - Naidoc Animal Totems.

From the design process to digital design and edit to the finished products, this project took a while as I was studying, working and creating through out 2020-2022.

But after some time, I had officially completed the 2022 Naidoc AB Programs Animal Totems. From drawings to Totems to be mounted.
