LUXE FASHION // There are those rare boutiques where the moment you step inside, you know restraint is off the table! Tucked away in the Southern Highlands town of Bowral, Angel Divine sits within the same charming arcade as Lucette, making it a perfect stop while wandering the village or lingering after a long lunch. It feels intimate, beautifully curated and quietly confident, very much in keeping with Bowral’s refined pace and sense of style.

Every piece I picked up felt thoughtful, beautifully made and impeccably cut, with exquisite fabrics and an effortless elegance. It is the kind of edit where everything feels considered and timeless rather than trend led. From beautifully tailored blazers to true forever pieces, the collection leans into craftsmanship and longevity. Brands like Holland Cooper sit comfortably here, with jackets and blazers defined by heritage tailoring, structure and enduring appeal.

I was looked after by the wonderful Simone, whose patience and warmth meant more than she probably realised. Post childbirth, when you are still finding your way back to yourself, being met with kindness, honesty and genuine care makes all the difference. My husband purchased my birthday dress from here, a piece I will treasure, and I already know I will be back once I make a little more room in my wardrobe.

If you love beautifully made fashion, timeless tailoring and discovering luxury boutiques, Angel Divine is well worth seeking out when you are next in Bowral.

THE LUXE FILES // ISON & CO. TIMBER & HARDWARE

Change management is some of the most consequential work in business, and much of it is never discussed publicly. Acquisitions and transitions often sit behind NDAs, and when handled well, the work is reflected in stability rather than visibility.

LUXE Communications was engaged to support a well known Shoalhaven business, Ison & Co. Timber and Hardware, when after 108 years the decision was made to sell and transition to new ownership under Gubbins Motteram Group Pty Limited, trading as Gubbins Mitre 10.

With permission, this is a rare opportunity to reference that work.

PR formed one component of the process, including coverage in the South Coast Register. However, the substantive work took place across internal, commercial and stakeholder communications, where alignment, timing and discretion were critical.

The engagement required operating at ownership, board and financial advisory level to ensure continuity was maintained throughout the transition.

Why I think Missoni at Crown Sydney is a masterclass in experiential marketing…

Missoni hasn’t just arrived at Crown Sydney, it has taken up residence on the pool deck, cocktail in hand, turning the harbour into its runway.

By transforming Crown Sydney’s iconic infinity pool into the Missoni Resort Club, the Italian fashion house is delivering a live demonstration of how experiential marketing works at its best. This is not a sponsorship. It is a complete lifestyle immersion playing out in real time.

Every element is considered. Zig zag daybeds and cabanas are wrapped in Missoni’s signature knits. Staff uniforms reflect the brand’s unmistakable motifs. A floating boutique allows guests to move effortlessly from poolside lounging to purchase, without breaking the rhythm of the experience. The space functions as a living lookbook, where the brand is not observed but inhabited.

This is where experiential marketing shifts from visibility to emotional connection.

Guests are not just seeing Missoni. They are sunbathing in it, swimming alongside it, sharing cocktails framed by it and wearing it home.

The brand becomes part of a summer memory.

The partnership feels instinctively right. Crown Sydney already represents luxury, leisure and social currency. Missoni slides into this environment naturally, exporting la dolce vita in a way that feels authentic rather than imposed. The limited time nature of the activation creates urgency, while controlled access reinforces desirability.

From a marketing perspective, the brilliance lies in how little selling is required. When a brand wraps a space this completely, lifestyle does the heavy lifting. User generated content becomes the campaign. Social sharing happens organically. Every poolside post extends the brand’s reach far beyond the venue itself.

For luxury brands, this is the benchmark. That is how you sell a lifestyle without ever having to say you are selling one.

why do I ask clients to fill in a "let's see if we're the right fit" questionnaire? It's an easy to fill-in less than 10 minutes set of questions to discover more about a potential client's business and how LUXE can be of assistance.⁣

These are some reasons why the discovery stage is so important:⁣
⚫ to let the client get to know me and to see if I'm a good fit for their business⁣
⚫ to get to know the client and see if I actually want to work with them too⁣
⚫ to gather the scope of work (find out what they need from me)⁣
⚫ to find out some initial information about their budget and see if what they need from me fits in with that expectation⁣
⚫ to be as generous as I can with my knowledge and expertise when we have our first meeting⁣
⚫ to get the client to think about their business⁣
⚫ to find out about the client's social media accounts, website etc (if they have one)⁣

If you're looking to work together DM me and I'll send you the link to get started...

You know that moment when you’re sitting in a meeting with a client you’ve worked with for years and they say:⁣ “So… tell me what you actually do?”⁣

And you’re sitting there thinking:⁣
“Sorry… me? The person who probably knows more about your business than anyone outside your own family?”⁣

Yep. That happened.⁣

At first I was offended. Then confused. How did they not know?
And then the truth hit me…⁣

Long-term clients can sometimes get used to you and forget your impressive scope of work from all those years ago when they first hired you. Over the years you’re not the shiny expert they first met… you’re the Velveteen Rabbit version. Well-loved, reliable, trusted… but somehow overlooked because you’ve been around a while, done the work but haven’t maintained the sparkle.

My lightbulb moment:⁣
I’ve been so busy helping everyone else communicate their worth, their brilliance, their expertise… that I forgot to communicate my own.⁣

Classic marketing expert who forgot to market herself.⁣
So I marched myself over to my LinkedIn.⁣
Updated my socials.⁣
Refreshed my systems.⁣
And I’m rebuilding my website like a woman possessed!

And you know what surprised me?⁣
When I actually sat down and updated my LinkedIn properly… I felt proud.⁣
I had this little moment of “Wow, you’ve achieved a lot. You’ve shown up for so many clients. You’ve done the work. You’re not just good at what you do… you’re experienced, you’re trusted, and you’ve earned your place.”⁣

It was a reminder I clearly needed.⁣

Because the truth is, and maybe you’ll relate, sometimes we are so deep in client work, so focused on delivering and helping and solving and perfecting everyone else’s brand, that we forget our own needs a little TLC too.⁣

If you’ve ever been too busy doing the work for others to show the world what you do too, welcome…this the Velveteen Rabbit Club… where we turn back into the shiny toy again!

Silhouette Skin and Beauty | Website and Brand Refresh ❤️

Silhouette Skin and Beauty website was designed by LUXE to reflect the luxurious atmosphere of their Mosman clinic.

Their eboutique showcases the French-inspired aesthetic at the heart of the business. The muted greys, warm neutrals and elegant Cormorant Garamond typography shown in the brand identity create a calm and sophisticated online experience that feels like a true extension of the clinic itself and their premium French brand PAYOT.

The online store highlights PAYOT and Mayerling products with clear, confident product storytelling and a polished visual style that aligns with the updated brand direction. We refreshed the colours, typography and imagery to honour the owner’s love of French skincare and soft luxury, bringing a cohesive look to every digital and in-clinic touchpoint.

New to the business we introduced digital downloadable gift vouchers to create a simple and effective new revenue stream where clients can shop 24 hours a day, even when the salon is closed. This is particularly valuable during the Christmas period when last-minute gifting is common, including purchases made on the day itself.

In a world where clients browse, book and shop online first, having a beautifully designed and functional digital presence is no longer optional. It is essential for growing a modern clinic, building trust and capturing new business before a client ever walks through the door.

No shoes in sight…where are the famous red heeled shoes?

That’s the point.

Experiential marketing isn’t about the product anymore. It’s about the world your customer gets to step into.

Brands know that in 2025, attention isn’t won through features, specs or even a beautiful product. It’s won through experience…the feeling a customer has when they interact with your brand, long before they ever buy.

Take the Louboutin Bar at David Jones. They’re not just selling shoes. They’re selling a moment - a mood - a version of you that sips champagne, feels a little Parisian, and steps into your own main character energy. The bar has nothing to do with footwear… and yet it has everything to do with how the brand wants you to feel.

It’s clever, intentional and it works. I’ll probably buy another pair while I’m enjoying my croissant.🥐 😉

Because experiential marketing is lifestyle marketing. It’s the art of giving people a taste of the world your brand belongs to…so they can imagine themselves inside it.

It’s why luxury beauty houses host facial events that feel like retreats. Why car brands build pop-up lounges instead of showrooms. Why fashion labels curate immersive spaces that have nothing to do with clothes and everything to do with identity.

People don’t buy products. They buy who they think they’ll become.

And if your brand can make them feel something…joy, aspiration, connection, possibility, you’ve already earned a deeper loyalty than any discount, feature list, or ad campaign could ever deliver.

If we haven’t met yet…hello, I’m Courtney.

Founder & Marketing Director of LUXE Communications.

For those who don’t know me, allow me to introduce myself properly.

I’m originally from Sydney… until life took a wonderfully unexpected turn. I fell in love with a dairy farmer and swapped my Louboutins for R.M. Williams… trading Balmain for wide-open paddocks on the South Coast of NSW.

When I started my agency, I made myself one promise: I must be able to work anywhere in the world with my laptop, my phone and high-speed internet {and that’s exactly what I do}.

Today I support clients both locally and internationally. I love my business and this year will be my 11th!

After 16 rounds of IVF and a long, emotional journey, I’m now a Mum to my gorgeous son Angus. He brings sunshine, chaos and joy to our lives in equal measure {and we wouldn’t have it any other way}.

Travel is my love language. I’ve lived in Bali and Singapore, and I adore exploring new places, absorbing culture and finding the stories that make each destination feel alive. And yes… I’m absolutely that person who uses packing cubes and arrives at the airport hours early for lounge time and a slow wander through duty-free.

Cooking for friends and family…long lunches, beautifully set tables, thoughtful details is one of my greatest joys {and how I show love}.

And if you saw the photo I’m sharing with this post, it won’t surprise you. Even as a little girl — hat, handbag, jewellery and all — I was always a bit extra sparkly! Big personality, always chatting, always creating. Some things never change.

● Why I share this
Because the work I do is personal. You’re trusting me with your vision, your identity, your reputation and your growth. It matters to me that you know the human behind the work.

If you’re new here…welcome.
If you’ve been connected with me for a while…thank you for following along.
I’m excited for what comes next.

Let’s work together…

I offer a boutique, hands-on partnership {thoughtful, intentional and tailored to your brand}.

I take on a limited number of clients at a time because depth matters. A smaller client list means more attention, more intention and a truly meaningful partnership.

My clients come to me because they want senior level support, clarity, creativity and someone who genuinely cares about their business.

When we work together you get a calm, organised, founder-led experience…just honest conversations, clear direction and work grounded in what matters.

1️⃣ Retainer / Your Outsourced Marketing Director
Ongoing support, strategy, creative direction and leadership to keep your brand moving forward with confidence.

2️⃣ Project-Based / Brand, Digital & Campaign Work
For brands evolving, refreshing or launching. Focused, strategic and tailored to exactly where you are now.

3️⃣ Consulting & Strategic Sessions
Clarity, refinement and expert guidance {without ongoing commitment}.

If you’d like to explore working together, start here:

Doctors’ websites are notoriously corporate…

…and often about as interesting as the outdated magazines in their waiting rooms.

But your website should feel like you. It should represent who you are, what you do, and the kind of experience people can expect when they work with you.

LUXE Communications was engaged to create a website for the incredible Dr Sarah Tolerton, an Australian-trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who sub-specialises in Adult and Paediatric Hand Surgery. ()

Our brief was to design something modern, sophisticated and true to who she is...a surgeon with immense skill, warmth and integrity. At the time, most medical websites were outdated, overly corporate and lacking personality. None of which reflected Dr Tolerton.

Chosen for our background in fashion, beauty and lifestyle, we brought a fresh perspective to the medical space, building a website that felt elegant, intelligent and effortlessly contemporary.

Fast forward to 2025, and it still looks just as stylish as the day it launched.
Proof that LUXE Communications websites don’t date.
