Business owners, if you think social media management is just creating a graphic and getting ChatGPT to write a caption, you're missing what actually drives results.

What you don't see is the work happening behind the scenes.

I'm analysing:
• What content gets saves, shares and clicks
• What messaging resonates with your audience
• Where your buyers are in their journey
• What your competitors are doing
• How to keep your business visible and memorable

Then there's the strategy, research, analytics and years of experience that shape every piece of content.

Anyone can post.

Not everyone can create content with purpose.

That's why social media management is about far more than making your feed look pretty.

It's about creating content that supports your business goals, strengthens your visibility and helps turn attention into opportunities.

Here is part of a basic report that I gave my client today based on a thirty day report.

The difference isn’t just in the numbers. It’s in the strategy behind them which is what I pride myself on.

When this client came to me, they already had social media and it was relatively consistent but his comment to me was that “it wasn’t getting him leads or anything”.

Anyone can create a post, but the real value comes from having a strategy and vision that turns social media into a tool for visibility, trust, and future leads.

Because when people see you consistently, they remember you when they’re ready to buy.

Beyond proud of these results in just a month of working with this client.

The world of social media is constantly changing. Having a set-it-and-forget-it approach is not sustainable and not viable either. That's one of the things I pride myself on: going in and being really proactive with my clients' content.

Once I send them content for approval, it's not just a matter of how it goes the next month. I am in their analytics constantly, looking at:
- what's working
- what needs to be fine-tuned
- what particular content has driven the most clicks or awareness inquiries
- what exactly has worked this month so that it can be replicated and bettered for the next month.

Last night I was incredibly honoured to be recognised as Ambassador of the Year for the NSW Sydney North East region.

To even be invited into the ambassador role was something I never took lightly. When I took on the role, I knew it was going to be an additional commitment on top of already serving as Vice President of my previous chapter but I said yes because I genuinely care about helping people succeed.

That’s exactly what I do in my business too. I help businesses create more visibility, more awareness, and more leads so they can continue growing and succeeding.

If there’s one thing about me, when I commit to something, I give it absolutely everything I’ve got so when you have me on your team even as a social media manager you get my everything, I don’t do anything by halves.

What makes this recognition even more emotional is that I actually wasn’t there to receive the award. After being at conference all day, it had already been a really big day for the kids… and honestly for Steve too. So we made the call for me to come home.

Why does it mean so much to me, well every networking event, every early morning, every message answered, every connection made, every time I stepped into the ambassador role… it often meant time away from my kids. As a mum, there’s always that internal tug of war wondering if you’re getting the balance right.

So to be recognised for the work happening behind the scenes, even when I wasn’t in the room, honestly means more than I can put into words.

I’m so grateful to BNI Sydney North East for this award, for the opportunities, the people, and the belief they placed in me from the beginning.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me along the way 🤍

I was often told that I don't show the process behind creating content for my clients, and there is so much more that goes into it than just creating a Canva graphic.

Every day I'm tapping into my marketing and communications degree, looking at competitor analysis, looking at the P's of the marketing mix, and looking at empathy mapping as well as the target audience, and making sure that the messaging is correct. It is something that often goes unnoticed and disregarded by people but this is what separates me from other social media managers.

I wanted to let you know the ins and outs of how I go about doing it. Don't mind the croaky voice and the blocked nose, the joys of winter approaching, being a mum, having two kids, and having lots of appointments during the week.

People think social media management is just creating a pretty graphic and asking ChatGPT for a caption.

But what you don’t see is everything happening behind the scenes for what I do for my clients.

❤️The research into your audience.
❤️The strategy behind every post.
❤️The analytics being tracked.
❤️The understanding of buyer behaviour.
❤️The experience of knowing what content actually moves people to take action.

There’s a reason why businesses hire a social media manager instead of just posting themselves.

Because good social media is not random.
It’s intentional.
It’s strategic.
And it’s built around helping your business grow, not just filling a feed.

Anyone can post.
Not everyone knows how to create content with purpose like I do.

Here is a great example of what a strategic social media manager can do for your business.

Social media doesn’t start with sales, it starts with visibility.

Because people can’t book, buy, refer or trust a business they’ve never seen before.

In the first 30 days my job is to:
📣increase reach
📣get new eyes on the business
📣create curiosity
📣drive profile visits
📣send people to the website

When visibility increases this quickly in the first month it means the strategy is working. This isn’t just an offshore VA posting with no strategy this is a highly experienced marketing and lead generation expert working her magic and building momentum.

Many business owners believe that more followers automatically means more business, but followers and visibility are not the same thing.

You can have thousands of followers and still struggle to generate enquiries. At the same time, a smaller account can generate strong leads because the right people are consistently seeing the content.

The goal of social media is not just to grow follower numbers. The real goal is consistent visibility with the right audience. That is what turns content into enquiries.

The other day I decided to do something just for me. ❤️

I took myself for a massage.

Big deal? Not really.
But it had been a huge few months emotionally and I wanted to share why.

Lately I’ve been questioning whether I have the stamina to keep going in business. I take a lot personally and I’m an empath, so when people say no, when a client cancels, unsubscribes or unfollows, I feel it. I wear my heart on my sleeve.

Weak? Maybe. But it also means my clients know I genuinely care. I think before my clients even have to think, I create content before my clients even have to email me, I work tirelessly checking analytics and insights regularly to keep their account growing.

As business owners we’re meant to be strong and ride the roller coaster. But the truth is the last few months have been hard. When people question the value of marketing, let alone social media, it can leave you spending way too much time in your head and that’s not always a great place to be 😌

So I took myself out for that massage.

I needed time away from my house.
Time away from where I do business.
Time to reset and look after myself.

I spent years at uni and I bring strategy to what I do. Real strategy. And sometimes that can be hard to communicate when people are looking for cheap and cheerful instead of thoughtful and results based support that actually makes a difference.

Anyway, it’s been a tough few months personally and professionally.

So if you need the reminder today, here it is
be kind to yourself 🤍
