Well that’s a bit nice!! Just an unexpected text of gratitude, a simple pack on the back for doing what they pay me to do, from a client for my Wednesday afternoon!
There’s something to be said about the power of kindness.
I’m a huge believer of the passing of positive feedback, especially in a world where it’s so easy to critique, and give negative feedback online on so many platforms that can really harm a business, a persons morale and so on. It’s often faceless and I think cowardly. I’d actually like to petition for people to have a license to have a keyboard! What do you think?!
It’s something I pride myself on doing, from telling and thanking the person on the checkout at the supermarket that I appreciate the service they’ve given me today, to taking the time to use the name of the person that serving me at the cafe the restaurant and the checkout. A little goes a long way right!
So I decided to screenshot this little series of text messages that made my day yesterday, and give it, it’s moment on the grid!
When was the last time you told someone they were doing a great job just because. Stop thinking it and start saying it, be the sunshine!! Do it!
