Elite sport isn’t always glamorous.

Sometimes it’s international rugby. Sometimes it’s a tornado warning delaying your match until 11pm.

Waiaria recently shared these moments from the Wallaroos’ second week of the Pacific Four Series in the USA 🇺🇸, where Australia took on the USA in Kansas City.

In Waiaria’s words:
“This game was crazy because there was a tornado warning…”

The Wallaroos unfortunately went down 33–12, with the match not finishing until around 12:30am the following morning.

That’s the reality behind elite sport.

The travel. The preparation. The uncertainty. The resilience to adapt when conditions are far from ideal and still step onto the field ready to represent your country.

A special milestone for someone we’re incredibly proud to support. 🧡🏉

Waiaria Ellis took the field for the Wallaroos in the first-ever ANZAC Test against the NZ Black Ferns on the Sunshine Coast — and did so in her first game starting at fullback (number 15). 🇦🇺

In her words:
“This game was pretty special because not only was it the first ever ANZAC Test match, but it was also my first game starting at fullback (number 15).”

While the result didn’t go Australia’s way, moments like this are about so much more than the scoreboard.
Pulling on the gold jersey. Representing your country. Making history in a landmark fixture. Celebrating the moment with family afterwards.

That’s what matters.

At Pegasus, supporting Waiaria has always been about backing exceptional young talent, hard work and determination — and watching her continue to grow on the international stage is something we’re incredibly proud of.

Wednesday marked the beginning of National Reconciliation Week 2026, and across both our Blacktown manufacturing site and North St Marys Distribution Centre, the Pegasus team came together to show that we’re truly ALL IN for reconciliation.

Throughout the day, team members contributed to our growing Community Installation boards, sharing personal reflections, commitments, messages, artwork and ideas around reconciliation, inclusion and community. What started as a blank space is already becoming something incredibly meaningful, and we’re proud to see our workplace culture rally together behind such an important initiative.

It was also fantastic to see contractors and site visitors getting involved and contributing their own circles to the installation throughout the day.

To help launch the week, staff at both sites enjoyed custom branded cupcakes featuring the official “All In” National Reconciliation Week designs, alongside plenty of fun photo opportunities with our custom-built selfie frame inspired by this year’s campaign branding.

We’re excited to see how the installation continues to grow throughout the week as more voices, stories and commitments are added.

Because reconciliation is something we build together.

Throughout the week, our team will be taking part in a range of activities designed to encourage reflection, connection and participation, including a collaborative community installation that represents our shared commitments to reconciliation.

We’re thrilled to welcome Fiona Palmer to Pegasus Media & Logistics as our new Human Resources Manager.

Fiona joins Pegasus with an impressive background in senior people leadership, bringing extensive experience across human resources, workplace health & safety, training, organisational development, workforce planning, culture, compliance, and performance improvement.

Her career spans leadership roles across complex operational businesses including Vellex Logistics, GCW Holdings, Grace Group, NSW Health Pathology and TAFE NSW — giving her deep expertise in the kinds of fast-paced, multi-site environments we know so well.

Most recently, Fiona has been leading people functions across logistics and operational businesses, partnering closely with executive leadership to drive workforce capability, employee engagement, succession planning, compliance, and positive cultural outcomes.

As Pegasus continues to grow across print, manufacturing, logistics and sourcing, having strong people leadership is critical — and Fiona’s appointment reflects our continued investment in building a high-performing, people-first business.

Please join us in welcoming Gary Pool to Pegasus as our new Production Manager.

Gary brings more than 35 years of leadership experience across manufacturing, print production, logistics, and operational excellence, with senior roles spanning Australia, South Africa, and South East Asia.

His background includes leading high-performing teams, driving process improvement, managing complex production environments, and delivering strong commercial outcomes through smarter, more efficient operations.

With deep technical knowledge of offset printing, finishing, lean manufacturing, quality systems, and large-scale production management, Gary adds significant strength to our operations team as we continue to grow and evolve.

We’re excited to have Gary on board and look forward to the experience, leadership, and energy he brings to Pegasus.

Pegasus is proud to support Belrose Rugby League Football Club and the incredible work they do both on and off the field.

Based at Lionel Watts Oval, BRLFC is home to A Grade and junior rugby league teams, a cricket division, and even hosts NSW Cup games for the NRL.

This year, Pegasus was pleased to assist with signage for the club’s Pink Stumps Day, which raised over $33,000 for the McGrath Foundation. The cheque was presented on the day to representatives from the McGrath Foundation, alongside Australian cricketer Sam Konstas.

We’re proud to continue supporting local clubs, community sport and charity initiatives that make a real difference.

It’s a day that means different things to different people — for some, a quiet moment of reflection; for others, a chance to gather, remember and pay respects. But for all of us, it’s an opportunity to acknowledge the legacy that has shaped the nation we live and work in today.
