💛 R U OK? DAY | A SIMPLE REMINDER TO CHECK IN

Last Thursday, our teams at Pegasus came together to recognise R U OK? Day and the importance of looking out for the people around us.

Staff were greeted with a sweet surprise and a simple message: “Share something sweet, show someone you care.”

While it was a small gesture, the message behind it is an important one. Taking the time to check in, start a conversation or simply let someone know they’re valued can make a meaningful difference.

Creating a supportive workplace is about more than one day of the year. R U OK? Day is a valuable reminder to keep checking in with our colleagues, friends and those around us — and to make asking “Are you OK?” part of our everyday conversations.

Supporting an important cause on and off the course ⛳

On 11 August, members of the Pegasus team attended the Rugby League Concussion – Legacy Foundation Fundraising Golf Day at Cabramatta Golf Club, with Pegasus proud to support the event as a Platinum Sponsor.

Representing Pegasus on the day were Michael Sherlock, Craige Rathbone, Andrew McArthur and Tyrone O’Brien, joined by our guest Brett Wark from Smartech, Patrick Joyce from Subterra and Maurice Ford from Spicers.

The day brought together people from across the rugby league and business communities to raise funds and awareness for an important cause.

The Concussion Legacy Foundation supports current and former players and their families impacted by concussion and related neurological conditions, while helping advance education, research, advocacy and injury prevention.

Pegasus is proud to support initiatives that make a meaningful contribution to the communities around us, and it was fantastic to see so many people come together in support of this work.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising the day — and to Brett for joining Team Pegasus on the course!

🏉⚽🏀 PEGASUS GETS BEHIND JERSEY DAY

On Friday, our teams at Blacktown and North St Marys swapped their usual workwear for the colours of their favourite sporting teams in support of Jersey Day 2026.

Jersey Day is an annual initiative encouraging workplaces and schools across Australia to wear their favourite sporting jersey and, importantly, start a conversation with family and friends about organ and tissue donation.

It was great to see team members across both Pegasus sites getting involved, showing off their team colours and supporting an important cause.

While there may have been a little friendly rivalry over which team has the best jersey, the message behind the day is one we can all get behind.

A big thank you to everyone who participated and helped us raise awareness across our workplaces.

Investing in our people, strengthening our systems

A big congratulations to our HSEQ Manager, Maria Florencia Goya, who recently completed the DNV Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Internal Auditor training course.

The course covered integrated risk management, management system standards, SHEQ performance monitoring, audit processes and auditing skills, with Flor successfully completing the required examination.

Ongoing professional development like this plays an important role in strengthening the knowledge and capability we have within our team, while supporting our continued focus on quality, safety, environmental responsibility and strong management systems across Pegasus.

Welcoming Craige Rathbone to Pegasus

We’re pleased to officially welcome Craige Rathbone to Pegasus Media & Logistics as our new General Manager.

Craige brings more than 30 years of experience across the print industry in Australia and South Africa, with a career spanning commercial leadership, sales, operations, production, estimating, procurement and strategic account management.

Throughout his career, Craige has led national sales and commercial functions, built and developed high-performing teams, and worked closely with major organisations across the retail, publishing, procurement and commercial print sectors.

His combination of technical print knowledge, commercial experience and operational leadership will be a valuable addition to Pegasus as we continue to grow and strengthen the business.

In his role as General Manager, Craige will work across our operational functions to support greater alignment between teams, strengthen day-to-day management and help drive the strategic initiatives underpinning our next phase of growth.

We’re excited to have Craige on board and look forward to the experience, leadership and perspective he brings to the team.
