After over 40 years in the photo industry and only 8 years in the printing industry in Australia, the Power 50 awards were tonight announced and Michael Warshall the executive Direector of Picpress , part of the Nulab Group, was voted as the 4th most innovative and influential printer . There are over 5000 print businesses in Australia and I feel humble to receive this honour. This is only possible because I am surrounded by the best people in the photo industry who like me made a leap into the print industry.

Nuovo albums are getting very close to launch. The containers of equipment arrived early this week. The technicians from Italy have been setting up all the machines and training our staff on how to produce exceptional truly layflat albums and books right here in Australia. Was looking for one of the techs and found him inside one of the machines fine tuning the mechanics.Not long now.

Each year ProPrint power 50 celebrates 50 individuals from the Australian Printing Industry who made their mark on Australian Print.
Michael Warshall the CEO of Picpress has the honour to once again being nominated this year.
Picpress ,part of the Nulab Group has been pushing the boundaries in the photo segment of the market. We launched our Enviropix range of products last year and we also became the first professional photo lab in the world to make a full conversion from Silver Halide to Indigo printing. We are still working with scientists at HP Indigo in Israel to make further improvements to the quality being produced together with improvements in color management.
We continue our path of innovation and in November we are launching our Nuovo range of true lay flat albums and books in Australia.
