If you don't already, here's two VERY GOOD REASONS to report spam!

Instead of blocking, deleting or marking as spam, report spam and phishing emails.

First, the spammer may get flagged and the world will have a teeny tiny little bit less spam.

More importantly, you get flagged, as "Spam Karen". When your email address gets slapped on a mailing list accessed by the spam world, email marketing software/list cleaners flag you as someone who will report their activities. To avoid getting reported, they'll delete your email address from their list.

This week we were asked "Why can't I just use AI to write my healthcare website"?

ChatGPT and other AI languages have an "encoded" signature that is not visible to the eye but can be recognised by search engines. If you're using AI content on your website (even chunks of Chat GPT with your own comments added) search engines can identify that the content is not human. This is not a secret. Ask ChatGPT, it will give you the answer pictured.

The ramifications for this in SEO are not yet clear (Google's working on that policy and algorithm RIGHT NOW) but I am willing to wager that Google's not going to reward health care and other YMYL sites (or any site for that matter) for using a robot with a DREADFUL reputation for fact-checking, to provide information to users.
