Lara Arden Modelling

Lara Arden Modelling Need a model, or an awards copywriter? https://calendly.com/businessawardsagency/call-intro-30mins I've been doing dance concerts since I was 3.

When I was 14 was when I first learnt about modelling for the catwalk, and through my decades of doing dance as performance, I learnt to do my own hair and make up for film/photography, or theatre stages. I started doing Musical Theatre at 14, and I became a professional dancer in my 20s, after I did degree in Musical Theatre. You could say that I've always loved performing or presenting professio

nally to audiences on film or on stage. I continued to sing in choirs throughout my 30s, whilst raising my children. And I began social partner swing dancing in my 40s as a dancing hobby. These days, I have returned to modelling again on film through commercials, videos, catwalk again, and with photography. I've even found some courage in my 50s to do some bo***ir modelling. Something in my 20s that I would never have had the courage to do. haha It's funny that now, in my later years, I'm finding more courage to do some things that are different and new. Indoor rock climbing and mountain climbing are also new things that I've started to do these days, thanks to my boyfriend Andrew. And I've returned to the stage again now, with a local theatre group - performing Improv Comedy. On a professional note, I'm a freelancing copywriter that loves doing business awards nominations to help promote businesses, products, and people. I hope, if any of this resonates with you, your business, or someone you know, and if you'd like to book me for a call to discuss your ideas, please do! https://calendly.com/businessawardsagency

I HAVE FABULOUS NEWS! 🦴🤩

A year ago, I decided to fight for stronger bones.

Yesterday’s DEXA scan showed my lumbar spine bone density has increased by…

6.3%! 🎉

And one vertebra increased 10.7%.

But here’s what I really learned:

I wasn’t perfectly consistent.

I missed training.
Life happened.
I had imperfect days.

But I stayed committed.

And there’s a difference.

Consistency says: “I keep doing it.”
Commitment says: “When I stop, I come back.”

You don’t need a perfect year to change your life.

So what’s ONE decision you’re willing to keep coming back to?

Mine?

Apparently we’re going UP! ⬆️😂

Kangaroo Point cliff stairs, here I come! 🏃‍♀️💪🦴

Caught this beautiful sight this morning on my walk across Kangaroo Point Bridge 🌁

Sending you all rainbows 🌈 hearts 💕 and unicorns 🦄 for a Happy Monday 🥰

Two years ago, I stood on a stage and spoke to a room of 500 dignitaries.

At the time, it was the largest audience I’d ever addressed.

Today, I pressed “Send” on my very first official CRM email newsletter.

It went out to 856 people.

And suddenly I realised something…

I’ve just spoken to an audience almost twice the size of that room.

Not from a stage.

Not with a microphone.

From my laptop.

🥲

As business owners, we can be so focused on the next goal that we forget to recognise the milestones we’ve already achieved.

Today wasn’t just about sending an email.

It was about building a platform.

A relationship.

A way to share ideas that can travel further than I can.

The irony isn’t lost on me that I spend my days helping people recognise their achievements, yet sometimes I forget to pause and recognise my own.

So today, I’m celebrating.

Not because of open rates or click-through rates.

But because 856 people received a message rooted in a mission I deeply believe in:

Helping quiet achievers recognise the value of their contribution and confidently claim the spotlight their work has already earned.

One send button at a time. 🚀✨

And, shout out to Nik Cree who’s been helping me sort out my technology. 🙏

RecognitionMatters

✨ Recognition. Connection. Purpose. ✨

What a beautiful morning speaking with the incredible women of Logan Women in Business at Big Buns & Burgers, Browns Plains.

🥬 Green juice to start the day.
💗 Spotlighting Share the Dignity and the mission to end period poverty.
🤝 Meaningful conversations and powerful reflections.

One moment that stayed with me was hearing Rebecca McQuilty say she’s putting her new Recognition Statement on her mirror 🪞 as a daily reminder of the impact she creates.

Because sometimes we forget that what we do isn’t “just a job.”

It’s a contribution.

A difference.

A story worth sharing.

Thank you to Tamzin Weller for the invitation, Sumiko Eyers for the beautiful photos, and all the wonderful women who showed up with open hearts and open minds.

What you didn’t know about me…

Most people know me as an Awards Coach.

They see the business, the workshops, the awards, the speaking, and the confidence.

What they don’t always see are the moments that came before it.

The setbacks.

The lessons.

The times life knocked me flat on my face.

Over the next several days, I’m going to share some stories I’ve never publicly shared before.

Not because I want sympathy.

Not because I think my story is unique.

But because I’ve learned that our greatest challenges often become the very things that shape our purpose.

And perhaps, in one of these stories, you’ll recognise a little of your own journey too.

🎥 Watch the video below.

I’d love to know:

What’s one life lesson that changed the direction of your story?
