We’re very pleased to welcome ResX as a sponsor of Backstage Pass 2026.

ResX were part of the event last year, and it’s fantastic to have their support again as we continue building Backstage Pass into a genuine industry night for the technical events crew who keep Queensland events moving.

Backstage Pass 2026 is a not-for-profit event created to recognise, support, and connect the people behind the scenes. The technicians, operators, freelancers, suppliers, stage crew, audio crew, lighting crew, vision crew, and production teams who make the work happen.

This year’s event will be held in Brisbane on Thursday, 21 May 2026, and is being aligned with ENTECH 2026 to help bring even more of the industry together.

A big thank you to Glenn and the team at ResX for supporting the crew and helping make Backstage Pass 2026 possible.

The decline of the projector given the increase in popularity of LED walls has meant that we've had to direct it at another market and the arts seem to be lapping it up. A dark room a creative mind and voila! Light art!

Oh the humble mirror ball. On his own just a sphere with tiny mirrors stuck to it but shine a bunch of beams on him and this humble often overlooked lighting accessory comes to life in a way that'll leave you grinning from ear to ear.
