Finalists! Sharing some news that means more than it probably looks like from the outside… BAYLY PR has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Communication and Public Relations Australia Golden Target Awards for Small/Boutique Agency of the Year. Four years ago, this ‘agency’ was one person, one laptop, and a lot of blind optimism. Today, it’s an incredible team of six doing work I am so deeply proud of, for clients who we are so proud to stand beside, even though it still feels like we’re that little Brissy agency competing nationally. So this nomination very much belongs to the team who built it: the late-night pitch decks, the last-minute pivots (and more pivots, and more pivots), and the relentless standard our small but mighty team hold themselves to. On a personal level from me (Lucinda), this is a moment I am especially proud of. My dad, who was my professional mentor for many years, spent much of his career involved with CPRA — back when it was PRIA — and I remember the walls of his agency office boasting many CPRA awards. I like to think he’d be quite proud of this one. Onwards!!!
