Here are some simple mistakes that you can avoid on your next Facebook ads. π
Mistake #1: Including multiple offerings in one ad. You only have a second to capture the attention of your audience, so you need to make sure they quickly see the value in your ad before they decide to keep scrolling.
π€ So what's the solution? Decide what your priority is and base your ads off this. Whether you have 1 or 100 different products or services, let each one speak for itself. Ensure your design is simple to understand and tailor your ad to each product or service to get the best results.
Mistake #2: Not testing different styles of content. Getting stuck in a rut with the same styles of ads that aren't getting you results is an endless cycle of disappointment.
π€ So what's the solution? If you're not seeing the results you want, change up your ad structures. Try carousels, videos, static images, lifestyle images, stock imagery and more to test and measure effectiveness. There's only one way to find out what will and won't work for your business, you've just got to keep trying!
Mistake #3: Jumping on trends just because they're trending. I'm sure you've all seen by now the ads roughly drawn in what looks like clip art claiming that the graphic designer quit but they need to announce an urgent sale. Just because you've seen it before and it worked for someone else, doesn't mean that it will work for you.
π€ So what's the solution? Identify your audience and their pain points. They don't care what your graphic designer is doing, they want to know if you can solve their problems for them. Be creative, if a trend does align with your business make sure to put your own spin on it to stand out from the crowd. Don't force an ad to stay up to date with the trends, this will come across as fake to your audience, limiting your results.
