So sadly its been a quiet few weeks for me. Long story short, I'm having some complications with a recent surgery that inolved a nerve stimulator which was inserted into my lower back.
Theres been pain around the device in my which has left me with shooting pain down my leg and leaving me with the inability to walk properly.
Ive been in consultations with my surgeon to hopefully rectify this but in the meantime its slow going so please 🙏 be patient.
The next 2 weeks I will be on a holiday hiatice which will hopefully aid a bit of recovery.

So for right now I'll leave my fellow card nerds with this, some custom display stands for those collections. Playing with a couple iterations and designs which are perfect for graded cards ranging to fit all the popular grading companies (except bgs at this stage but can easily be changed upon request) and all sealed packs, top loaders and grading sleeves.

Come december Ill hopefully be able to get some made for stock so any requests will be noted and hit the printers in that time.

I nearly thought this was going to be impossible 😅 about 2hrs to safely remove all the supports with some of the small fragile pieces, but persistence and patience paid off!!
Its pretty clear by now that the Batman series is one of my favourites.

Little view on how a resin print works.
Going from a vat of liquid resin the bed pulls each layer from an lcd screen which shows each layer in a topographical view from bottom to top. Without support to pull that next unconnected layer out it would just leave cured resin connected the an fep sheet which separates the screen from the vat, resulting in failed layers.
3400 layers at 0.05mm each slowly built this over 13 hours.
My job is to set up the file with the correct supports and settings to mitigate those potential failures.
Afterwards it consists of cleaning with ipa in my wash station then onto support removal without damaging and part of the print.
And finally curing the model so its safe, clean and ready for the next stage being a sweet paint job 💪

With nothing but a few charcoal metalic coats this looks AMAZING 😍

Been a little bit of a slow yet busy week. Remodeling the work areas and setting up some more fdm printers.
But a "little" something thats been going for a couple of days. Shows resin is not all fun and games, sometimes things need to be redone, sometimes it will print flawlessly.
