Feeling all these quirky, feminine vibes on this rainy Friday. This moodboard is from a few months ago, but this project has since been put on hold.
8 weeks ago I did a pretty good job of breaking both bones in my wrist. In that moment I thought I would be fully healed in no time (naively not having broken a bone before, let alone two). But 3 weeks post break, I ended up having surgery and recovery is SLOW...a lot slower than I had imagined.
As a designer this has definately been a hard pill to swallow. The forced downtime has been nice in hindsight, but I will honestly say that recovering from an injury that has kept me from being able to do my work, small everyday tasks, as well as all of the things I love doing has been a huge physical and mental challenge.
To say I'm excited about getting back into work next week at a limited capacity would be an understatement. My new ergonomic mouse is a godsend 🙌😂
I would love to know if you've had an injury that has kept you from doing certain things, and what you did to cope?
