๐ฌ๐ฆบ Ironbark Marketing Director, Hannah Frankish, and Lestrade Digital Producer, Hugh Whitehouse, enjoyed filming 1.2km underground to capture UFR Haulage update content with the Universal Field Robots and Gold Fields team at Granny Smith mine.
It was an incredible experience to witness the worldโs first OEM-agnostic autonomous underground haul truck fleet in action. To date, the trucks have travelled over 2,000 km during shift change, recovering valuable time that would otherwise be lost.
The UFR Haulage project paves the way for Gold Fields to transition to fully autonomous haulage and zero-entry mining in the future, enabling significant safety and productivity benefits to the mineโs operations.
