So, this week in the office, we got into a pretty lively discussion about the new NDIS regulationsāyou know, the kind of chat that starts with āDid you see the new support lists?ā and ends with everyone brainstorming ways to make compliance sound⦠well, exciting. š
As marketers working a lot in the NDIS space, weāve definitely felt the impact. Some of our biggest clients have been navigating these changes, and it's safe to say thereās a lot of rethinking going on.
Matthew, as usual, had some thoughts to share (no surprise there):
āLook, compliance isnāt something we can just ātick offā anymore. These new regulations are reshaping how we engage with participants, and businesses need to be crystal clear about what theyāre offering. Itās about building trust and keeping up with the new support listsāwhich, letās be honest, are a bit of a game changer.ā
Hereās what weāve been chewing on:
1ļøā£ Defined Boundaries: The new support lists are like a rule book, spelling out whatās allowed and whatās not. If youāre not on the list, you better rethink your offeringāor help clients request replacements!
2ļøā£ Grace Period: For the next year, if you slip up and use something thatās not allowed (under $1,500), youāll just get a warning. Phew! But letās not get too comfortable, because nowās the time to get things in order.
3ļøā£ Flexibility: If a service isnāt on the āallowedā list, donāt panic. Thereās still a way to work within the system. Weāve been helping clients explore creative ways to stay compliant and still provide value.
Basically, weāre all about helping our clients navigate these changes without breaking a sweat. šŖ So, whatās your take? How are these regulations shaking things up for you?
