The Isa Hotel is a social hub in a people-oriented town.

Waymark Hotels sought our assistance in rolling out their new brand identity for this iconic pub covering hospitality areas such as in-room collateral, food, accommodation and front-of-house.

The result is a suite of assets that honors the new brand identity while remaining true to its loyal clientele.

We were approached by the team at Presence of Mind Psychology to develop a brand for their new practice. Due to the nature of their business, this brand needed to be approachable and instil trust whilst projecting professionalism and calmness.

When developing various concepts we explored the idea of communication and conversation. Taking inspiration from sound waves travelling between both the client and the psychologist, resulting in a clear line of communication.

Pickleball's popularity has exploded in recent years due to its unique blend of tennis, badminton, and ping pong, making it an enjoyable game for all. As the sport has grown, so has the demand for high-quality equipment. Six Zero Pickleball recognised this need and approached Map Creative to design a suite of paddles that would hit the spot.

Our design team took inspiration from the facets of a diamond, specifically their durability, beauty and performance. The resulting paddles boast a stunning black and silver carbon-inspired colour scheme, accentuated by abstract diamond line work, giving them a premium feel, whilst the accent colour added the finishing touch.

engaged us to develop a retail marketing campaign that would tickle the taste buds of Brisbane Festival attendees and entice them to dine at South Bank before or after a show.

With a brief to ensure evening dining was front and centre, we created the Festival Nights brand and shot images against an aged copper base to produce electric blue tones to reference the event’s night lights.

Our Logan is a print and online publication which celebrates the City of Logan’s diversity and vibrancy by sharing the stories of the people who call this colourful city home.

So when we were set the task of designing and developing their flagship website, we knew we needed to create something that allowed the stories of Logan to shine through whilst setting the foundations for future success for years to come.

Using clean and contemporary designs coupled with smart UX we produced a sophisticated and intuitive website and suite of EDM’s that effortlessly placed the people of Logan front and centre, where they should be.

Our Story

Ideas, good ideas and grand ideas have been the basis of Map Creative’s success for more than 20 years. Ideas are the foundation to every good brand. Map Creative is passionate about storytelling for its clients and its exceptional ability to break through the digital and visual noise cluttering society.

We work with start-ups, SME’s, government and corporations on projects large and small. Whether it’s the birth of a new brand or an established iconic industry player, we manage creative projects from concept to completion.

Our History

Map Creative evolved from Map Magazine, a monthly lifestyle publication founded in 1999 by the impassioned Carl Lindgren, the page-turner covered topics like fashion, design, arts and entertainment and grew to become one of Brisbane’s most iconic brands.
