Somewhere along the way, we confused sounding “professional” or even “different” with sounding the same! 🤯

I think we’re become so focused on optimising for algorithms, hooks, engagement… and other vanity metrics, that we’ve forgotten there’s a 👏 real person 👏 on the other side of the screen.

The irony is that the businesses I remember most are the ones with an opinion, with a voice and some personality, and the ones who aren’t afraid to show the unpolished version.

I use AI every single day. I think it’s one of the best (and absolutely worst) tools we’ve ever been given.

But a tool should amplify your voice, not replace it my friends 😩

So here’s my challenge, before you hit publish, ask yourself one question…

Could this have been posted by one of my competitors?

If the answer is yes, maybe it’s time for another draft.

So… I lived dangerously today 😝

And I also couldn’t pass up the opportunity to jump on a fun trending reel 🤌🏼

But here’s what I love most about trends and content creation…

I love the foundation of a trend… but I love the creative licence to make it uniquely YOU even more.

I find the people winning on social media right now aren’t the ones copying everyone else word-for-word (cos… boring… blendy). They’re the ones taking an idea, injecting personality into it, and making it feel real, ⭐️relevant ⭐️and memorable.

Your uniqueness is your superpower. Your voice. Your energy. Your perspective. Your weird little quirks. THAT is the stuff people connect with.

Social media was never meant to turn us all into the same person.

And the irony in all of this is… The moment you stop trying to sound like everybody else… is usually the moment people finally start paying attention 🙌🏼

Everyone says they’ve got the world’s best mum. But I actually do… and i@embody that phrase to the core.

There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for my mumma - she’s the one who’s always there on every emotional roller coaster (and trust me, we’ve been on plenty a coaster before 🫣😩), she’s there when I need her to help with the kids, 3 phone calls a day is never enough - 25 texts a day doesn’t cover everything either, she’s the best cook and makes the most incredible cakes (), and…. She’s my bestie.

Rob girl, thank you 🙏🏼 Everyone who knows you, adores you… and for good reason.

I hope this weekend was as special as you!
