Most people start a business to gain more freedom and lifestyle... only to drown in 70-hour weeks, exhausted and frustrated. The cost of working harder is slowly killing them, until Mike Fox steps in.

My favourite memory of Mike is when he showed up to my Cars, Watches & Legacy event in a "Back to the Future" shirt. His name is Mike Fox. If you joined the dots, you would have seen a very funny guy. If you didn't, you just met a really smart bloke in a casual shirt.

That ease, that confidence, that quiet wit. That's not separate from why he's brilliant at what he does. Mike is the kind of person who walks into chaos and doesn't panic. He's insanely intelligent but never holds it over you. He meets you where you are, asks the right questions, and then does something rare. He makes the complex feel simple. Any time I see Mike in a room, I know two things are going to happen. He's going to make me laugh. And then he's going to make me think.

Mike runs Lone Wolf Unleashed for solo operators whose business can't run without them. He gets your processes out of your head and into systems that actually work. And for those ready to go further, he shows you how to bring AI into your business in a way that's practical and actually implemented, not just talked about at conferences. He's spent over a decade doing this with everyone from one-person operations to large enterprises, and he brings the same brain to both. Brilliant simplicity for the small. Complex problem solving for the big.

If you're working harder than you should, reach out to Mike. He won't just make you think differently. He'll probably make you laugh while he does it.

I met Mike through the Investors Forum. If you'd like to be in a room full of people like Mike, please reach out. And a special shoutout to Clare Marks for her cameo appearance in this post, and for adding a bit more fun to networking. ✌ 😆

Tomorrow, a rare piece of Australian whisky history will take its place at the Cars, Watches & Legacy charity auction.

Sullivans Cove has generously donated an extraordinary 23-Year-Old American Oak single malt; a whisky shaped slowly over decades, entrusted only to those who appreciate its depth and craftsmanship.

Every dollar raised will support the Nerve Connection Foundation, helping improve the lives of people living with neurological injuries and conditions. A cause aligned with our belief that legacy is not defined by what we own, but by what we contribute.

thank you for standing with us. To our guests: this is your opportunity to take home something rare, meaningful, and capable of creating real impact.

This year's Cars, Watches & Legacy. December 11, 2025 is now sold-out. If you secured a ticket, you’re part of something unforgettable. If not, stay tuned. Legacy moves beyond the room.

Some cars earn attention. The 930 earned fear, respect, and legend status.

When it arrived in the mid-seventies, it became Germany’s fastest production car, a turbocharged flat-six that pushed past 260 km/h when most cars struggled to reach 200. But the numbers weren’t what made it iconic. It was the way the boost hit: sudden, addictive, and unforgiving.

The Porsche 930 Turbo rightfully earned its nickname ‘The Widowmaker'. See this legend owned by at Cars Watches & Legacy, December 11.

Some machines don’t earn their status through hype; they earn it through identity, emotion and pure sensory force. The Koenigsegg Jesko is one of them.

It is the car for people who build their own path, where every surface, mechanism and idea reflects that same mindset. Under the skin, the 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 produces up to 1176 kW on E85, revving cleanly to 8500 RPM. The carbon monocoque weighs about the same as a passenger, yet it is strong enough to anchor the entire car.

A Koenigsegg isn’t tied to childhood posters; it is tied to achievement. You don’t buy it for validation. You buy it because you resonate with the philosophy. The Light Speed Transmission shifts in 20 milliseconds and can jump to any gear without stepping through the one in between, engineering crafted for people who notice the details.

I am proud to be hosting Cars, Watches & Legacy this Thursday, December 11, 2025, where this blue beauty will be on display.

Some cars shout for attention. The Revuelto doesn’t need to, it arrives with presence you can feel before you ever hear it.

A V12 that still roars with attitude, now fused with hybrid force that delivers instant, electric punch the moment you breathe on the throttle. 747 kW. 1,001 hp. 6.5L naturally aspirated V12. Three electric motors. Numbers that look unbelievable on paper until you experience how calm, deliberate and composed the car actually is.

This isn’t excess for the sake of excess. It’s evolution, a reminder that power, technology and identity can move forward without losing the spark that made Lamborghini iconic in the first place.

I’m proud to have the Lamborghini Revuelto on display at Cars, Watches & Legacy next Thursday, December 11. It’s one of those machines that tells you exactly where the industry is going, without forgetting where it came from.

Some stories stay with you. Dinesh’s is one of them.

Dr Dinesh Palipana wears one watch, a black ceramic Hublot with a meaning that goes far beyond design or luxury. It marks the moment he rebuilt his life after the crash that left him paralysed from the chest down. It marks the promise he made in intensive care: I am the master of my fate. It marks resilience, survival and a mother’s unwavering support.

Since then, Dinesh has gone on to become Queensland’s first quadriplegic medical intern, a researcher, a lawyer, an author and a national advocate for people with disabilities. His watch isn’t an accessory; it’s a reminder of the day he refused to quit.

As we prepare to host Cars, Watches & Legacy this Thursday, I’m proud to be welcoming Dinesh to the room. He represents exactly what this night is about; people whose stories run deeper than the machines they admire.

Cars, Watches and Legacy attracts a different calibre of person.

Imagine holding a million dollars of gold while interviewing Michael Engeman, CEO of the Ainslie Group. His story is incredible. He started as a teenager sweeping floors at Rocklea and now leads one of the most respected bullion and crypto operations in the country. He didn’t land there by luck. He earned it through decades of grit, values and long-term thinking.

That’s what makes Cars, Watches and Legacy special. You meet people who have actually built something. People who lead with character, make tough calls and don’t hide from pressure. People like Michael, whose entire career shows that trust and integrity still matter.

It’s not just an event. It’s a room full of founders, leaders, and operators with real stories, real wins, and real scars... capable of deeper conversations that ambitious people crave.

If you want to be around people who think bigger, act with intention and have lived it, this is where you meet them.
