Purple is one of the hardest colours to get right in DTF printing.

Ever noticed purple designs looking dull or muddy on your DTF transfers?

Here’s why.

Most standard DTF printers use 4 basic colour inks: cyan, magenta, yellow and black, plus white.

To print purple, the printer needs to mix cyan and magenta. The result can sometimes look muddy, too blue or too pink compared to your original design.
